I would appreciate if anyone could provide me answer to this.
Please, for those who booked their medicals via IOM, did you have to make payment at the bank counter at SCB, or an online payment sufficed?

I'm asking because the payment instruction requires me to use my passport number as reference number, which the online transfer does not allow me put in such detail.

Any help here?

Thank you.
But why does eligibility review take time to start? My app is 2 months now and eligibility review is yet to start.

This depend solely on VO.

They might also not update it.

Officer is mandated to spend maximum of 11-12 minutes to assess application eligibility ( in-canada application) . This might be same for other countries too.

Then, when it's complex or they can't make decision immediately, or there's need for documents confirmation/clarification, banks statement etc. They place it on recommend interview/ Review required.

The officer got 30-60 days to check back your file again.

If there's new documents request,

It will be uploaded on the VO action list. VO got 30-60 days to attend to it. It might be earlier though .

It is better to upload all documents request fast before VO leaves his current Chinook spreadsheet.

Hi wiziggy….please i need your assistance on getting admission…i’m in your shoes… my grades are too low for Msc i need your advive on which school to apply for pgd thanks.
WiZiggy:
Good day all, to the Gurus on this platform, a thousand salute to Y'all for the selfless work you do.
I already have a BSc in Biology but I applied for a post secondary diploma program in fashion design using my WAEC only(I have been a tailor since I graduated 2011).
I was offered admission to study fashion design Fall 2022.
Tuition payment due date is February 1. (16k one year, they don't accept part
payment)

My questions:
1. Fees: How or what method of payment will I use to beat the deadline (1st Feb) and get a good exchange rate.
2. POF: I have not built a strong one, can I apply for study permit later (like in May) and get a response before Sept.
3. Someone is supporting with my 1st year tuition. Should I have it sent to my account and I do the payment & or ask the person to pay directly to the school and then stand as my sponsor?
Thanks

But I need advice from you all for someone who has been out of job from her field and but have been doing petty business that is not in her field of study but wants to do her Master's in the field same as her undergraduate study.

What is her best bet in terms of visa application like providing employment letter, pay slip and some other documents as regards to employment status?

Please I need help to address this.

N/B: I have been looking for job in my field(Animal science)
And the petty job is POS business.

I have gained admission to study in university of Manitoba. Can I differ my admission till may or September. Can I get a sponsor too
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by kokolanre123: 12:26am On Jan 24, 2022
Good day

Please I need advice or contribution on the application I am running for my Wife (Study Permit) and Kids (Visiting Visas)
Missed out on the January 2022 intake for University of Manitoba because of the delay by IRCC
However I emailed the school to ask for deferral till a later date, but was told that there are no space for May 2022 and September 2022 intake and was told that She is on May 2022 wait list.
I had to take that as I have paid the whole school tuition.
Also She has another admission with University of Winnipeg for September 2022.

Now my question is should we wait for University of Manitoba … as I read that we still have 150 days from our suppose intake day till we provide an updated Letter of Admission or

Do we withdraw our application and go on to pay University of Winnipeg for September 2022 and update the IRCC of the development.

I really need clarification on this.

N.B The application is still running and the latest update is (Upfront medical passed on the 22nd of December 2021).

Thank you

Hello Goshen

The bolded depends on you though, many applicants have done family application and few got approved, why many got refused.. One thing to know about Study permit application is that it is a Temporary Resident Visa i.e you are expected to come back after the duration of your Visa.. Now going with your family for a temporary Visa shows you guys have the plan to Japa and not return, this is the reason why the Visa OFFICER often refuses Family application for a study permit application.. But like I said earlier, few have gotten approval for their family application and this is because they were really able to convincingly explain to the Visa officer the reason for the family application..

So if you know you don't have strong and convincing reasons for your husband going with you, I will advise you do what most married applicants do i.e applying alone, and using the spouse and Kids as home ties, and when you get to Canada, you will apply for a spousal permit for your spouse and visiting permit for the Kids..

Many married peeps use this method, and we have experienced more approvals with this compared to a family application..

Peace

I need to pay first-year tuition through CBN form A. Please I need Memorial University bank account details for wire transfer. Kindly assist. Thank you.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Viewoliver: 3:45am On Jan 24, 2022
I think the link and information regarding tuition payment should be given in your Letter of Acceptance (LOA)
I paid mine by generating payment instruction with Canadian Imperial of Commerce (CIBC) then used it to initiate payment through CBN Form A via my local bank.
e-form A is available now and your email address has to be linked to your BVN. I would advise u get the mode of tuition payment for international students from your school first and thereafter you go to your local bank for directives on how to go about e-form A.

Please wait for the gurus in the house to give you more insight on this.
It will end in praise.

Hi everyone, my application was approved last week, contacted my school and I was told I can’t join in on the January session, that’s to wait till September, My school suggested they have a course related to my course opened for May session. My school said as long as I am not changing DLI that it’s okay to change course. My concern is will it be a problem at the point of entry?

I believe for MUN, you have to pay via WU Globay Pay. Go to MUN's website, check the methods of payment page, click on "Wire transfer uisng GlobalPay". Follow the instructions on that page.
