By converting Adam and Eve (the first human couple) over to his side. They became his subjects instead of submitting to God they chose to rule themselves and that's how all these troubles started. They thought they will not die so they can RULE over the entire human race without following God's standards but setting up their own for mankind.
Ever since then each rebellious human wants to determine what is good or bad from their own perspectives.
That's why the world is having serious issues with headship till today.
So Satan becomes the ruler because he is the initiator of absolute freedom {2Corinthians 4:4 compare to 1John 5:19} which totally contradicts God's standard where each parent should be responsible for the upbringing of their children mentally. Deuteronomy 6:6-7
Since Satan introduced absolute freedom and we need to cohabit then it becomes a difficulty for us to submit to the same line of thought, that's why politics is causing the death of people in millions.
God said:
“From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will certainly die.” Genesis 2:16-17

The tree of knowledge of good and bad connotes setting standards among humans, it belongs only to God! Jeremiah 10:23

For your information, i always laugh at you each time you try to reason along with others but ended up insulting, abusing and cursing one another. It's impossible because God purposely sent Jesus of Nazareth to unite all obedient mankind. So failure to acknowledge Jesus will always bring you at loggerheads with anyone you try to reason with. Each person will like to do what he feels is good and you will see them as fools for not reasoning the same way as you do! Luke 11:23

God doesn't throw you into hell fire. It's your decision that takes you there. Hell was never meant for us. It was originally created for the devil and his angels long before man was created.

But when Adam sinned against God, he brought himself under the dominion of Satan. So, if Satan who now became the god of this world is destined to go to hell, he certainly will take along those under him, which is sinful man and God will be unjust to stop him.

So, the only way out was for God to send Jesus to die in our place so we can be redeemed from the power of darkness. And he has already done that. Anyone who accepts him as Lord and Saviour will be redeemed from the hand of the devil. But if you reject the free gift of salvation, the devil has the legal right to take you to hell with him. And there is nothing you can do about it.

He is not the one throwing people there. Satan is the one laying claim on the soul of those who choose to serve him.

But God will eventually throw all those in hell into a Lake of fire which is worse than hell because you have past beyond redemption.
