Her parents were highly against the relationship initially but when they become tired of us, they allow us to do our thing but never involve them if something happened. fast to December last year, we got married. I was not even able to pay 1h to her parents. she just pack her things and join me in my house. we were the happiest couple on Earth till things started going north.
First, we agreed to do many things in the farm against hunger next year, we started with melon farm, then groundnut and yams. we were still on this and I must confess that she is hard working but pregnancy came and this girl started misbehaving, she will not follow me to the farm again and will not even cook for me. I dare not complain cos she will insult me seriously. sometimes, I will tell my sister to cook but this girl will not eat it because the food is bad.
One night, she sent me out of the room in the night that I must get bananas for her to eat. I suffered that night till I got it from one woman on credit cos I was not having money on me. last month, she was sick and visited one private clinic, I was to give her 10k for her treatment but did not have the money so I told her to give me 4days to look for it, there was no insult I did not receive that night. Hello my dear.I guess you did not know how pregnancy can affect a woman.Ask matured mothers to explain more.Many become very aggressive during pregnancy.Some will punch you and insult you and YOU will tell them i am sorry.What can i get for you my love?They are passing through many changes during pregnancy and it is expected you pet them and endure all that comes with it.You are even fortunate she is not irritated by your smell or looking at you if not you will need to give her space or move out.They are very sensitive at this period so you need to take your time to study her to know how best to handle her.She is your wife and all she is doing i not her fault.She does not hate you or want you to suffer,she is passing through a lot.
My wife bites me during pregnancy and i will tell her i am sorry.Hope she did not injure herself and beg her to be biting me small small or i sometimes run when she is in the biting mood.When she delivers,she will be back to her normal self again.So use this time to study her to know how best to handle her.Ask matured mothers and fathers how they were able to cope during pregnancy and you will gain a lot of experience in handling yours.I will also suggest you start preparing money for a safe delivery my man. I almost started this response with a long laughter, until i realized that you are truly troubled (even if unreasonably so) and laughing may come across as insensitive. Still, I will start by saying you have not started having real problems in marriage , YET. What do I mean? First of all, your wife is pregnant (forget the fact that this pregnancy, is being had in a broke situation and with the need struggle for food to eat. A lot about Her metabolism is changing right now and Her asking for Banana or any other crazy thing at any crazy time is PERFECTLY NORMAL. Deal with it, as a Man. Try and find the Banana, and if you cant, get a substitute or at least show that you care and that you put some effort. Don't nag about it, because you have no idea what it is like to have another human being grow inside you. Cut her some slack. Secondly, you've highlighted other potential sources of unresolved issues (i.e> the types of issues that spring up in marriage when you least expect it. Some of the ones you mentioned are: a. Life is sweet generally but can be cruel to others.
I was once a happy guy with a bright future but marriage is practically killing me. It all started when I become sick and was admitted in a hospital. my aged mother was the person staying with me and was responsible for my everything. inside the ward, another patient was with this very beautiful girl that was very hard working, my condition was critical that my mother will have to bath me sometimes, this girl now started helping my mother and to a point, my mother will leave her to be taking care of me and go home.
I become close to her, but i use to think that she just pity my condition and wanted to help so I did not think of having any relationship with her. I was later discharge and went home but since we exchange our contacts earlier, we use to talk often. I asked her one day to visit me which she agreed. To my surprise, this girl brought some provision for me and slept over in my house. she continue visiting till one day, I told her that if i was strong and capable, I would have loved to date her. she confessed instantly that she was really interested in me and did not care about my condition. According to her, she was born in a poor family and can handle the pressure of been broke, that she will be the happiest person if I love her back the way she loves me. I was moved with her words and to cut the story short, we started dating.
Her parents were highly against the relationship initially but when they become tired of us, they allow us to do our thing but never involve them if something happened. fast to December last year, we got married. I was not even able to pay 1h to her parents. she just pack her things and join me in my house. we were the happiest couple on Earth till things started going north.
First, we agreed to do many things in the farm against hunger next year, we started with melon farm, then groundnut and yams. we were still on this and I must confess that she is hard working but pregnancy came and this girl started misbehaving, she will not follow me to the farm again and will not even cook for me. I dare not complain cos she will insult me seriously. sometimes, I will tell my sister to cook but this girl will not eat it because the food is bad.
One night, she sent me out of the room in the night that I must get bananas for her to eat. I suffered that night till I got it from one woman on credit cos I was not having money on me. last month, she was sick and visited one private clinic, I was to give her 10k for her treatment but did not have the money so I told her to give me 4days to look for it, there was no insult I did not receive that night. I have to sell my yam seeds and pay. infact, I'm tired of this life presently cos i use to think that she will help me but the reverse is the case now.
Please I need advice on the way forward, I want to run away from home but she is pregnant, her people refused to help us too cos they warned her before.

Its a pleasure to be here. To all the men in the house finding it difficult to find a GF/Wife most especially those who are ripe and overripe for marriage. It can be difficult most times especially for the shy types, introverts, low financial status guys when trying to ask your crush out.

Hehe! OP can you please update us with your current situation. I will like to know how it all went, I'm just seeing this now in early February 2022 and I believe your wife must have put to bed by now with your baby a few months old. I hope your wife has reverted to her old sweet self after the delivery, women go through pregnancy differently so don't be surprised her next one will make her the sweetest to you. I have experienced same with my wife during her 2nd pregnancy and it was funny to me cos I knew all along that it was the hormones at work not her   I also hope you have been able to put up something sustainable for your growing family so you don't have to experience that kind of lack again. |
