LesbianBoy: So when you get to a country for the first time, a lot of things would catch your fancy and you'll take lots of pictures and have lots of things to talk about and share. Multiple this feeling by 10 for someone who's leaving the country...no Nigeria for the first time to a place where things are organized and done differently, the excitment is more than double. After 2 years of being here, I've seen it all, at least for the provinces I've been to and nothing excites me anymore. The pictures i took then was you guys seeing things from my eyes first hand as I saw them, when it was still fresh, amusing and incredible. Now, I don old so I just try to take pictures of things I haven't shared before which isn't much. Hope you understand. If there are specific pictures you want or specific topics you want discussed, then I can do that 14 Likes |

School route recently has proved be easiest means of getting visa approvals. You can apply to schools of ur choice and wait for decision on ur application. There are thousands of schools here to apply. In Vietnam, most schools here will require u do a 10 months vietnamese learning program once you enter b4 u can progress with ur program while some are core HD English program and won't warrnt the 10 months vietnamese learning. Processing admission and inquiries on admission can be tiring due to language barrier. You will send mails upon mails upon mail to ur school choices and not get any feedback just cuz the person in charge doesn't understand English and not ready to use translator thus makes the process a hard one. Some schools reply but at some point you might stop hearing from them which doesn't necessarily mean they don't want you but laxity from the person in charge. So after some months of no reply from the schools I wanted to apply to,I had to talk to a Nigerian in Vietnam who then explained to me the above reasons why I didn't get feedback . He however told me it was easier if you had someone over here meeting them on your behalf as a middleman cuz most of them now speaks vietnamese and can converse with them in their language which the understanding better for both parties easy but doesn't mean you can't get some schools that reply mails (few). Intake starts from August in Vietnam while few schools does two times enrollment per year (March and august ). Admission processing in schools varies. from paying and getting ur admission forms to processing it then getting govt approval without govt approval u can't enter cuz they haven't opened the whole borders then you get immigration too . The school will apply for the govt approval on your behalf and doesn't take time to get a result on the approval if granted or rejected. N/b if you have someone here helping you out he or she will always disturb the school to hasten the process of getting all necessary doc's for you which is the advantage else the school will opt you into joining via online classes (ur data go hear am). After getting the necessary doc's and approval, everything will be sent to you either through the school or the middleman then you can fly in. Upon your arrival at Hanoi airport, you will present ur approval and then pay for ur visa on arrival which is either 1yr single or 1 yr multiple as you wish. After expiration you can get 4 years once (for undergraduates) mind you , you can apply for trc. B4 I drop the pen, be wary of the schools you enroll with most of them are not ready to push for govt approval and will always tell you they are waiting for when things gets better that's how you will graduate from home via online classes. I hope this helps tankioooo!!! 8 Likes 1 Share |

Schooling in Vietnam also gives you enough time to work cuz of their time table pattern which can accommodate everyone both workers and non workers . Their timetable is far different from Nigeria bombarded schedule. most schools here are Just One course a day and it can be morning class or evening class which gives you the rest of the hours to pursue ur businesses. Furthermore, it might just be 3 courses a semester or 4 which is relatively fair unlike the Nigerian uni that gives u 14 courses per semester and expect u pass all. If you're just trying to use school route as means of getting visa then u can apply to any school but if otherwise u have a particular goal course wise then make sure u verify the particular school that has such course and then run ur admission with them hopefully they reply and accept you after going through the admission process. Scholarships doesn't really work here like USA etc. Their scholarships are most often extended to their Asian counterparts alone, only few involves other countries unless you're applying through another country which is affiliated to Vietnam schools (masters and research purposes) they will do everything for you. Happy weekend to y'all. Make I go play ball 3 Likes |

Marimart:There are thousands of schools in Vietnam. You can make research on that which fascinates your taste and make inquiries with them. There are Nigerian students who are coming in March precisely though still on their admission processes hopefully everything will be out b4 28th Feb. |

Re: My Journey To Hanoi, Vietnam by WhyNa: 1:38pm On Feb 13, 2022 |
Hahnemann: On a good day, PMS is cheap and if not for the news, I probably wouldn't have noticed. These days, I use the bus more as it's cheaper. Schools aren't fully back to normal so no rush going to classes and the weather is crazy cold. Not as cold as last year where temperatures dropped to 6C though. It's been a crazily annoying wet winter This year, the lowest it has been is 10C. The thing about the cold in Vietnam is...even though temps are not as low as in some countries where it gets to -2 or so, the humidity contributes to making it colder. Righ now, it's 11C with a humidity of 86%. Trust everyone's good 1 Like |
