BKayy:

If you still have an atom of shame left in you then allow Akpa clan to speak for themselves.
When did they make someone they consider inferior like you Yorubas their spoke person?

So you have nothing to bring to the debate in regards to yoruba land that you are now leaching onto Akpa as a basis for your argument when Akpa themselves are Igbo.

Its not even as if there is atom of truth in any of it. The ruling clan in Arochukwu is Nnachi, and Akpa are unadulterated Igbo with no apologies

If you as an Afonja is ashamed of Yorubaland then who am I to give a shred of dignity to them?
The Akpa came from Akamkpa

They are not Eboes

They sold millions of Eboes as slaves . That is just history > Let us not deny history as unpalatable as it might be .
It is what it is

Once upon a time all the neighbours of the Eboes plundered them for slaves because they were a soft target as a consequence of their developmental retardation

NNUBI DYNASTY
reign over Arochookyou
Still haven't mustered the courage to bring anything from Yoruba, whether clan or otherwise to the table?

Pathetic people that are ashamed of their own history.

Well since you are so interested in the superior Igbo history. Akpa as one of the founding Igbo clans of Arochukwu produced the first Eze Aro who was succeeded by the Oké Nnachi of Nnachi clan. Hope you are taking notes.

You have a need to have a history as you have nothing worthwhile so I sympathize with you

The reality is that Eboes did not a any time evolve beyond umunna level politics and that is why small groups like the Arochukwu, the Efik, the Itsekiri sold you as slaves for centuries

Yes the Aros are ruled by an Akpa dynasty and were not Eboe

Thank-goodness to my advance ancestors that brought light to your ever-cave primitive progenies.

There is nothing palatable/interesting about history my friend. your ancestors were so weak that they were constantly raided by dahomian "female" warriors for slaves and their skulls for decoration, same with the fulanis who have condemned the remnant of yaribas in illorin to eternal slavery and servitude...

Never have I seen a living thing so ashamed of its own history like a Yoruba man.

So there is no Yoruba man on Nairaland that can bring Yoruba land to measure Igbo intimidating history.

Chai, man dey pass man. See Yoruba cowering behind the skirts of another Igbo clan to hide from the lashes of the great Igbo nation. Even when the Igbo clan is pushing him out. Shameless.

Yes keep hiding Afonja

The simple and bitter truth is Eboes have no history beyond that of enslavement by smaller groups

That is the history

One of enslavement by Ijaw, Efik, Itsekiri and Edo

I do not know what the sentiment out here is all about!! AT the end of the day i hope this is just a historical display of education and not a way to incite hatred among Nigerians. People in that era lived their lives at the best of their understanding and they may have thought of themselves to be the alpha tribes back then I speak for all tribes. And in this same vein we see ourselves these days as the apex full of knowledge and all but our children will look back and still say we were not advanced. The problem i see here is, people often blame their past for what their present cannot achieve and this in turn reduces their future expectation. The same this is happening to our government. As i have often stated, for a country to grow we must remove all these historical hatreds and look forward to a better humanity. Our ancestors´ time has passed, stop debating!!! This is your time!!! The question is, what are you contributing to make sure today is better for a great historical reference.?

Arochukwu's king the Eze Ibom Isi , descendant of Nnubi clan that conquered Aro and used that as a platform for selling millions of Eboes. That is the issue. We are discussing Opobo

Opobo was another outlet for Eboe slaves for Ijaw merchants

Allow Ijaw, Itsekiri and Edo to speak for themselves.
As for my distant cousins Efik, never in your life try to use that your gbegiri mouth put them in such stupid sentence again.

Whenever you are man enough to bring your pathetic Yoruba land to the table call me. As for now, you are just a Yoruba trying to hide under the skirts of Itsekiri, Ijaw and Edo to challenge the great Ndigbo. Ijaw would have loved to dive in if they haven't suffered embarrassment from Ndigbo because of your manipulations.

Now your Shamelessness have jumped franchise, you now want to hide under the skirt of an Igbo clan (Akpa) to throw dust at Ndigbo. Chai, if cowardice was an ethnicity, it will definitely be you people

without one history how can one move ahead without one knowing his culture his Root Traditionally how can one be great that's the issue with yorubas you travel out and forget your Roots culture, nothing like inciting haters between one another but one getting to understand where his from.
