Most 'standard' plasterboards (or drywall as you Americans will call it) available in the Nigerian market are considerably thinner in size than what you would normally buy in Home Depot across the Atlantic.

Just like floor tiles. Tiles available across the Atlantic are considerably thicker than in the Nigerian market.

In Nigeria you will struggle to get a 12mm/18mm plasterboard. What's readily available are about 9mm/10mm.

So for those who may need a thicker measurement probably for better sound proofing, project managing the manual process is the way to go.

That's my view too.

I've gotten 12mm here now and will be considering it.

That isn't far fetched sir, you people of old always appreciate olden days stuffs, ranging from building components to vehicles, to music, permit me to say LIFESTYLE in general.

Please Experts in the house, I have about 3000 pieces of 9" hollow Blocks lying on my prosposed building site since 4years,
they all appear intact and not damaged , any disadvantage using these Blocks for the Foundation of my prosposed one storey building?

I’m not an expert but theoretically concrete is supposed to get stronger with age as it cures.

I’ll have your onsite brikila test them.

If it were me I’ll probably get fresh blocks for the foundation part and use these for the partitions. Do pillars as a requirement regardless.

PS: Plastering actually adds an impressive strong bond.
