toujurs:I don’t disagree with it, what I am saying is that feelings like that fade away after a while for both the man and woman. It’s not love, it’s lust and a relationship shouldn’t be built on that. |
| Re: What A Black American Woman Told Me At Her House Today by toujurs: 8:19am On Feb 11, 2022 |
missimelda01:it doesn't fade away just like that, unless the guy initially had no intention of marrying her from the beginning, Or both parties later figured out they weren't compactible, due to constant disagreement or selfish ness. Most ladies definitely, because i can't say all women, but the few i have dated. Started Showing serious commitment after we had sex, i think women generally are like that. The reason why some ladies are bitter, i guess it's because after the sex, which was when her own part of commitment started the guy ghosted her. |

toujurs:Please I beg you, try to read to understand. The ‘commitment’ you are talking about here is the feeling of infatuation because if you’ve taken your time to love someone for who they are, the sex will be a plus and there’ll be less disappointment from both sides. P.S a girl can also dump a guy after sex. Relationship and marriage isn’t the only thing women think about, some are interested in building their careers and meaningful friendships. |

Bluntdude:It's like you don't know how people that talk too much are. When they finish talking normal one, they start with the abnormal, all in a bid to keep running their mouth and impress their conversation partner. If she said all you wrote there, tell her to visit the psychiatric hospital. You can imagine putting feminism and loneliness in the same place. Is that her definition of feminism? Illiterate. |

Mercychen:Exactly. She might even want to have something to do with the op, cos that's how some women behave when they like a guy, spilling so-called secrets. |

MALIGNANTGuest:This is so true. Men are over emotional, although they try to mask it. And the way they dump all their emotional baggage on a woman eh! Women are strong truth be told. |

gfon:You don't get it, do you? We are not talking about whether every woman needs a man. That's not the bone of contention here. The bone of contention is every woman "CANT" do without man and that is what I'm against. |

nenyewrites:Well, seeing that this feminism stuff started in the West (where she happens to reside in) before Nigerian women copied it, don't you think you're rather too hasty in your conclusion? As for whether or not she's right by you, she told me clearly that she's been honest with me and to be honest, I believed her. As a matter of fact she said feminism is absolute nonsense and those that engage in it are being pretentious. |
| Re: What A Black American Woman Told Me At Her House Today by Nobody: 8:43am On Feb 12, 2022 |
Bluntdude:Did you even read what you wrote? "All those stuff about feminism is a lie." (What stuff?). "No woman wants to be alone." (When has feminism become synonymous to being alone?) I'm pretty sure that woman's education stopped at high school, that's if she is even educated. |

dominique:every one should learn or know their place and be the best in their role . The problem stem from trying to leave your own place (as a man or woman) to spy on the other person/partners space and think you know better.. The other person will def feel embarrassed or oppressed and fight back. It's not for a specific gender alone it vice Vasa. But these days we want to create rules fist to see who is more superior or inferior We need to first learn our individual roles , be master at it and be your best , then come together and align . some of us are either half bake, don't take correction, heady , stubborn, egoists, lack good manners, dishonest, complainers , unforgiving etc We then come with all sort and unhealed trauma and expect the other person to put up with our bullsh*t.. when we are our own problems |

FinallyFamous:Why? |
| Re: What A Black American Woman Told Me At Her House Today by FinallyFamous: 2:51pm On Feb 12, 2022 |
Mercychen:well, life humbles the proudest of us and teach us lessons we won't forget in a hurry. We should not wait till it happen to us , we should learn form the happenings around us instead. My point: sometimes the problem is not the gender, the problem is the person. Fix your self, be kind and open minded, be teachable and calm , read books and learn new things each passing day, take an account of your life so you can see where is leaking and fix it . But having a sense of protection in an abstract belief could be dangerous, especially if that belief system is faulty and non tested , it will just be an illusion when the real thing finally appreciate but you ended with an illusion on your own end. You will feel empty and dry . Nothing beat the natural course of life . Wait for it, and enjoy your share of it....but don't deny it totally |
