Not sure but the powder looks similar. I have only seen couscous in African stores and was told it is a Senegalese staple. Sometimes, dem just dey use name scatter our head.

Sounds cool - i enjoy the cooking process maybe that's why I don't use microwave to cook.

I have grown tired of sitting for what seems like hours waiting for food to cook abeg....you can imagine how I feel about the crackpot at this point - useless if you ask me. undecided

I have even taken to making soup in the microwave. I throw all the ingredients in to a good microwaveable bowl, and zap. From time to time, ofcourse, I still have to patiently cook and stuff but nothing beats being able to eat in minutes what I want to eat ....taste and all. undecided

lol....that one is tricky but still doable I am certain. undecided

I first heat up the okra in its bag until cooked before then adding it to the soup and "pulsing" - heating up the soup for many seconds at a time. grin
