They are top ranked teams but we are still the best team in Africa hence the coach should make the girls organized ahead of the second leg. We should be beating Ivory coast and Ghana of course.
So, with this statement, you can comfortably bet your girlfriend that Senegal will beat Nigeria any day anytime since they are ranked higher

The current u20 coach lost to civil not dennerby
JohnBullMySon:
The former coach lost to CIV, removing us from 2020 olyimpic qualifiers. Waldrum won his game 2 nil but yet you are not satisfied sad

Female football is coming up but our records and standard in Africa would still send shivers down the bones of any team we meet in Africa at the moment. Superfalcons are 11 time African champions with some of the best players from the continent still. You are comparing apples with oranges here.

Solid Performance from Ashleigh...

Rasheedat Ajibade better and better...
Michelle Alozie settling well into the Right Back position... She played as a wing back though but was more defensive.

Tony Payne versatility another advantage, wing back from the Left...

Ohale, Onome, Ashleigh as the 3 center Backs.. Ashleigh letter moved more to the Left when we were two goals up!

Things are quite tough now. our last AFCON cup in 2018 was a tough one.

In 2016 our opponents didn't dominate us in those games except in the last game against Cameroon.

Alright!!!!! The commentators were worse than abysmal, really maybe you should partner with the NFF to run the commentary angle for them.

Lol una don start. Those dudes were not professional commentators. It was just rushed together by the NFF. Our npfl commentators from last season were not bad at all.

Falcons must go on the long balls in the return, we can't do midfield play with the Ivorienes. They are technically better, more skillful and very mobile. Experience triumphed over exuberance today. Whilst we celebrate victory, we must ask ourselves, when and how did we become so ordinary?

As much as I love Super Falcons, our performance today against Ivorians in our own yard is poor.

The result was never a reflection of what happened on the field of play.

We were totally outplayed at the midfield and became ordinary to the Ladies Elephants.

Unless, Randy Waldrum corrects those noticeable errors at the midfield, we might not be this lucky against this team on the road.

While we celebrate the slim victory, let the coaching crew and players check themselves and work harder for the return leg

Couldn't have put it better. While we have to leverage on long balls in the return leg, the coach needs to work on the midfield. Like you rightly affirmed, we were outplayed by the Ivorians with our midfield totally absent.

You can't say we were outplayed in the midfield when the Ivoriens didnt play through the midfield and were just lobbing long balls, then there was the ref that blew at any attempt by our players to actually play the ball through the midfield.

They won most of the drop balls, trapped most of the passes through the middle. Yes they controlled the midfield

Yea it was definitely horrendous. It started very bad but it got better. Well at least it started moving at normal speed.

I am hoping they have a better copy because it might have been network that caused the issues in the beginning.
