How about you say,

people should learn how to manage their anger to avoid situations that would cause them to afflict fatal injury on other people.

It is better to tackle the root cause that will lead to that anger. If someone did not provoke you, you will not get angry. We should learn to cohabitate with others peacefully. Don't do anything that will make the other person angry because it is not everybody that knows how to manage their anger.

Even with our actions and sins God loves us still (this is not about David alone here but for all human). It is the sins we commit, that God hates and not us, God will never stop loving his children never! We might be punished for such sins but his love for us will never decline a bit. Haven't you wondered how he accepts and easily forgives murderers that have murdered so many lives, a long time prostitute, a rapist and many more? You think as massive as God's love is for David, he wasn't severely punished for his actions?? You shouldn't have stopped at verse 8 of the same bible and chapter you quoted, you should have read further through verses 9,10,11,12 to 14 to see how God CURSED and punish David for what he did.
