Hello everyone. I’m planning to apply for the UK tourist visa for NCLEX exam around August. I just graduated school last year and I’m currently interning at a government hospital. My father who is my sponsor for the exam is a lecturer and earns just a little above 300k monthly, what are my chances of getting the visa considering the 2x disposable income rule?

Good evening everyone. I’m new on here. I had an ugly experience when I traveled to the uk. At the point of entry I wasn’t allowed to enter, I was returned back to Lagos. And “CANCELED” was placed on my visa. I was told any further application would be refused until after one year from the date of cancellation. My question is this, what is the implication of this as it is on a page in my passport? What are my chances for getting visa approval from other countries? And is it advisable to file a missing passport so I can get a new passport so I can apply for other countries and at the end of one year I can apply for uk again. Please I will need advise from you all. Thank you all

i just reactivated mine also, that have not been in active since, cause have not file annual report since 2018
after the payment for the filing for due ones, i waited 2 weeks nothing showup i have to send a mail to them before they resolved it within 4 days, but only their agent or lawyer can file this annual return for you oo, cause individual account was not grant access to it, this have made me go and register new company which filing for a company takes more stress (ACCOUNT AUDITOR) and money i will stick to my business name jejely since is now active

that my experience

RodeDindu:

I will advise you not to upgrade to Limited liability because it's a liability on its own.
Stick to that enterprise, clear up the annual returns, because the processes for the new one is choking.
I must tell you, CAC don't have any agent, almost all processes are now online, which the chartered accountants will tell you that, they can't even fast track it.
They will help you make the payments, send you the reciepts, file in the annual returns, and you exercise patience, within 1-2weeks or earlier, the status will change.

I might not be 100% correct, but this is how I reactivated mine of 5 years inactivity

Someone with your income and even less have shared success of their visa application here. You just need to put a genuine application and present your circumstances as they are. And let me add there is absolutely nothing wrong with your dad's input.
All the best.

The immigration officer asked the reason I was there. I told him for vacation, he asked for my return ticket I gave to him. He said where would I stay that night, I showed him my hotel reservation. Then he asked if I had a credit card I told him no, then he asked for my wallet to see if I had cash, and I gave it to him. He asked me to thumb print, I did the first time, he said I should clean my hand on my forehand and place on it again which I did. Then he asked if I was working, I told him yes, he asked is it a good job I said yes, After that I saw him writing from my passport. He just told me to take a seat that he would be back. He came back then told me I’ll be interviewed. He was asking me questions and I was answering according to what was in my application. Tho an agent appied for me, I’m 22years. But from the interview it was obvious I wasn’t working there. Then I was told I have to return to where I was coming from that I didn’t get my visa genuinely. That was what happened

forget about uk for now you can get a new passport but most of these countries we still ask if you have been denial at the port entry in any country before and reason
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Gentlesoul3268: 9:39am On Mar 01, 2022
Sorry Ayomide if I may ask what year this happened? and did you paid for the hotel or just reservation to pay at the property?

If you claim that you lost your old passport and get a new passport, that can only help you if you wanted to apply for another country visa but as for UK they will know that you are sent back from the point of entry and your visa is cancelled.

Sorry brother

giselle237:

this refusal letter is veeeeeeeeeery detailed. Very easy to understand
1. You said he is going to visit his uncle for 14 days. No evidence the person is his uncle. No proof there is any form of relationship between the two people. No proof the supposed uncle is legal in the UK, no documentary nothing submitted to prove any of these otherwise.
2. No proof that this uncle will provide accommodation or care or that he will be covered.
3. Why is he travelling alone? A 15 yr old. Say he is going for visit to uncle. Why alone? You say you will be busy with business- what business? No proof of your business, that your business is operational and functional
3. You say he is a student in Nigeria. No proof he is a student.
4. The whole trip will be funded by 3rd party. What happens if things go wrong as they have no idea about his own financial situation in Nigeria
5. You say you will sponsor the trip with 2000 pounds, you provided bank statement with 400,000 naira. Not even enough to cover trip cost
Ma it looks like the ECO thinks you intend on shipping this boy to the UK, after a while he will stay and then try to become legal as he was born in the UK. There is no proof to suggest to eco that this is not the plan as the whole thing looks suspicious to the ECO.
Because nothing suggests there is true intention to visit and looks fishy that you are sending off your son to visit an uncle which you can not prove relationship to.
Please go back to the drawing table and sort out the true intention of this trip as everything has been doubted and looks suspicious coupled with lack of proofs

Hello house!
I was refused entry clearance (tier 4 student visa) into the UK on the 14th February 2022 on grounds of my official financial sponsorship being from a Nigerian private company, hence the refusal. I have written and called the school (University of Suffolk Ipswich) severally to issue me with another CAS so I can reapply but their response has been we're working on it.
Please, what can I do at this point?

Sorry about the situation AY. The Lord is your strength. Agents have done more harm than we can imagine. It's time we do away with them. The major thing they are after, is the money. Whatever is the outcome of the visa good or bad o, is none of there business. If one devotes his time and not being lazy, one can actually do this visa thing perfectly without any so called agent. As far as you can read, understand and write. The joy of it is that when u handle this visa application yourself, you won't be scared of any interview coz you know exactly what you filled in and can answer any question being thrown at you. Nairaland is here for us and God will continue to bless those that initiated it and to all the gurus past and present that has taken ther time one way or the other to help out too.

I believe the agent might have filed information different from what you answer at the POE. Maybe he didn't supply the whole details to you.

How much was in the wallet you gave to the immigration officer? And what was the total budget for the trip? How many days stay?

No one can tell you what the outcome will be. The probability of getting a visa is very slim. Is like 25%. If you package your application well and luck on your side then you might be part of the 25% whose applications are successful.
