This is best most accurate comment ive seen on the west avoiding direct confrontations with Russia. The US is a superior military power to Russia and even though theyre are slightly behind Russia in the development of nuclear weapons(partly bwcause of them championinh the UN global denuclearization program) they have the most superior anti missile defence system and there's actually one that can intercept hypersonic missiles which the US is keeping close to its chest and that is the use of laser technology to bring disintegrate the missile from its carrier and then destroy it. Laser travels faster than hypersonic missiles. It is simple physics that we were taught even in nigerian secondary schools. Mow, the reason why the US is avoiding this kind of confrontation is the devastation and set back it will cause to the world , humans and civilization. Russia doesn't have exclusive rights to nuclear weapons
