The laws doesn't apply to friends and family..

UN were against bush invasion of Iraq, what did they do? Where are the sanctions?

Bush swore Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, that he is a threat to the whole world. They invaded and destroyed a country with no justified.

Whenever brown people take up arms in defence, they are labelled as terrorists. But the Ukrainians are hero's.

Last last, What do I know, all we can do is observe. As for the past few decades there have always been multiple Active wars/conflict around the world.

I don't see anything special about the Russian invasion

In this case it’s tagged heroism cos they took it up for defense. They did not pick up guns to attack anyone. You can take any measure if it’s for defense.

Are you guys observing the double standard in this Russia v Ukraine saga?
Not home office is saying Ukraninans with families here can come but the same home office denied Syrians and Afghans refuge saying they should claim assylum in thier first safe country of arrival. Then FIFA and UEFA has suspended Russia yet when The UK, France and US invaded Iraq, Libya and Syria, they were not suspended. Also the media organisations here are often fond of accusing the Russian media of bias but are yet to analyse the situation from a Russian perspective or from a Black man's perspective. So much hypocrysy. I pray that peace will reign and both parties will resolve their issues. Putin took a wrong step and the west also.
The thing here is that Putin denied intentions of invading Ukraine before now.
So, I don't see any bias
Putin has invaded some countries in similar style and he needs to be stopped. You don't force countries to form alliance with you.

lols... Don't be too angry with it. It has happened to me many times.

Is your wife a white lady or your baby looking white while you are dark like me? cheesy Most times the mixed Baby don't look anything like us.
My Baby is very white and takes all his resemblance from his Dad who is white with his long eye lashes and eye brows.
The only thing he took from me is adding black to ginger hair to make it Oban hair and which is cool but he is still my Boy cheesy

My sister he’s looking white. My wife is not oyibo, but very white and everyone from my end is white except me. I am sure the cute eyebrows is from me. But they can see it na. Even grandma’s will say same n give him chocolate. Why can’t they say he looks like me. grin

We can’t deny that there is extra mark when you are European. That has been clear from everything.

Trust me US president got intelligence reports that they were gonna attack Ukraine. He even said it in one of the briefing. I think they just didn’t do what we expected. I can say they failed Ukrainian. The response was in my judgement “slow and not is right direction”. I may be wrong but I think the world is scarred of what Putin has (armor). China and India will have to join US n UK to bring Putin down.

You can refuse but be ready for a section 21 whilst they can still use it. A good way of refusing could be showing comparables (dicey as rents are at record high rates), suggesting that as you've been a good tenant, it'll be good to be rewarded with some predictability for 12 months or so. You can also choose to ignore it and continue paying the old rent

Ukrainians are defending their country, they are not blowing off trains, aeroplanes, churches and market places.

It’s not always the case, there are other variables to be considered like the age of the person buying the house, the deposit and the repayment period. For instance if you are a 50 year old male buying a first house, you will only get a 15 year mortgage with a higher monthly repayment compared to a 30 yr old man who has over 35 years of working life remaining and can afford to spread the repayments over 35 years.

I want to ask...
Are wars not fought with money??
Are weapons not built with research and ultimately money...are we not just overhyping Russia’s arsenal..

their entire budget as a nation and defense budget does not suggest they have what it takes in firepower to take down the US, let alone the super powers of NATO (France, UK and US) combined..

True that is so if you are in ur 30s or under it is generally cheaper to buy than rent.

I see renting as you helping the landlord pay their mortgage
