he did some more incantations before he spoke in deep Yoruba languages while Ubaga friend who followed us interprets but his English wasn't really that clear.

According to seyi, he said baba saw my path in life was very bright and cloudy at same time, normally I was going to have money but not through this yahoo yahoo. that what he did for Ubaga, williams and the rest of them my star didn't fit in that way..but there was something else that my head can carry.

something else? like how...seyi went further to ask baba the question, who paused for a little while..started singing..then he pointed to a calabash that seyi quickly picked up..I was asked to pack a portion out from the content with my LEFT HAND something that looked like salt and throw it on the mat close to where baba was throwing the cowries.

Baba kept looking at the salt and cowries close to 2minutes, infact he was behaving like he was listening to something or someone telling him what to say..he hummed.. and continue until he paused looked at me then signalled I should go outside for a minute. which I did.



I was called back to come in and seyi told me that baba has seen my path that I should get my listening ear on, they is only one thing he can do for me thats OGun owo (blood money) that if I do it I have alot of money more than anyone have ever met including Ubaga who even brought me.

Ayoski called me a junkie last week even though he didn't use that actual word, why won't he...I still feed from them, yes I had little cash left but I knew its only matter of time before it gets worst... sunday came I and Ubaga left the hotel and went to meet seyi at his home residence. it was an old Yoruba building we saw seyi grand father who was about 111years old and other family members extended and the rest. some were sitting outside their houses with chewing stick's in their mouth. They stared at us like we were the early white men as we came down from a bike that took us down the mountain slope.

they exchanged greetings in Yoruba, while we walked down to his room, since it was the morning the sun was up....seyi suggested we go to their family farm side close to a mountain and a river flow with nice views there we could relax with a Jerry can of fresh tapped palm wine and enjoy the view of the town from the mountain top.

He instantly read our mind what brought us to his place and told me I shouldn't worry that he was ready to take me to another location to meet a very powerful herbalist in osogbo that one could also be of help. on our way to the farm seyi called our attention to come see a particular short leaf growing and told us to observe..he pointed his index fingers to hit it and the leaf bent down and fell dead.


seyi: you see this leaf na them take dey do knack and fall for rings and hand..if you won fight person.



while Ubaga was laughing, I was dumbfounded, yes seyi was a typical Yoruba boy even though he is not an herbalist he still knows some native charms and their preparations.

We got to osogbo that same evening and we lodge in one popular hotel around a link road, been the capital city of osun state it was a bit better. We booked 3 rooms and I had a nice bath..wore a clean long sleeve shirt I bought from the boutique at ife (it was of low quality, but manageable) proceeded to meet chairman Ubaga and seyi who was already at the bar of the resort filled with girls, guys and students that came to flex that Sunday I later heard they was a campus close by.

We just sat on our table jejely after devouring 3 barbecue fish Ubaga ordered and washed it down with a bottle of eva water. They were some Yoruba guys who were sitting close to us wanted to show themselves, it seems they were also into internet scamming.. they started making noise.. ordering drinks among themselves and talking so loud in Yoruba that you as a non native would be wondering what are they shouting about. It was getting so annoying that Ubaga turned back and told them to calm down now.

They observed Ubaga from head to toe and tried talking down on him, who blantly told them he doesn't understand ... that the noise is just too much shoi..nor be only hu na dey here..one still kept speaking in Yoruba until seyi stood up and spoke back to them sternly, I didn't know what he said but whatever it kept them calm.


A minute later Ubaga called a receptionist to bring us drinks, instead of bringing us the drink she came with the hotel manager...he shaked us before he spoked softly asking if we will like to come inside the club or let them bring the Dom perignon champagne chairman Ubaga ordered outside the bar for us because they was an mc asking for his name to do the hyping as a normal routine when an expensive drink was bought.

Ubaga waved it off with a smile, OGa agbeg bring drink come for me, make i drink....all this while they was this particular girl Ubaga had been staring out...she had a flexible body with a portable ass fitted on the tight skin trouser she wore...she was with some young bloods laughing and nodding their head to the tune of the music playing from the speakers.

Immediately the music's stop and undertaker ringtone started playing, the mc from the club followed the waitress who was carrying the drink down to where we sat outside throwing praises in Yoruba and english....2 bottles of Dom perignon 250k each going down tonight in the bar.... UNUSUAL..... honestly, I felt for those people close by who were styling with their bottles of goldbergs and heinekens with their girlfriends disturbing our ears with talk. because they suddenly kept quiet and turning back one after the other to get a glimpse of who we actually were.

If it was in the south the attention we got won't have been that much for just a 500k drink... it's nothing.. because they are others who might even order a casket of that same drink comprising to 4 or 5 of that bottles in a night just to prove a point they are richer.

It got to a point one Yoruba boy on blings approached our table, raised his hands up in respect to Ubaga and we all...dude came with an empty Glass and ask of permission to take a sip from the bottle of Dom perignon.... Ubaga gave a go ahead ( Real recognize real ) he was about to go.


Ubaga : guy, you dey go... carry chair sit-down na 2 bottles dey ground so.


Chairman was right, am not a strong drinker neither was seyi who prefers local gin and palm wines, infact I despise alcohol from hangovers and the rest..all drinks bought back in warri I hardly take them except if it's black bullet and calypso...the guy quickly grabbed a sit brought is iPhone out..started chatting with his white woman client I could see on the facebook app.




Me: chairman, na to go bring one or two girls make them mount your side





Hearing this, the guy who introduced himself as jb knew we wasn't from osogbo town asked Ubaga his specs...the kind of girls he likes..all this are unnecessary questions I just told him pointing to a particular girl Ubaga had been staring out.




Me: like that one when dey there... when soft somehow.




Jb: who, blessing? bro girls when hot pass blessing dey...some never even come out it's just to 9...but anyway hold on let me make a call.

The guy was a p!mp, he seems to be a regular baller and patroniser of the club in the hotel, for him to even know that girls name means he might even have fûcked her.... dude signalled another boy to come meet us and told him to go inside the club and see if beatrice was around... not up to 10mins 3 big classy hotties with flat tommy's were sitting with us all were young student's who were into runs. For a moment I forgot about my problems the thought of getting my dîck sucked out was what was in my mind.
