Honda accord 2007 gear "D" blinking and car start and drive
Occasionally during driving ,when throttle is engaged RPM rises but car wont move until after sometimes. And the cycle continues.

Scan indicates good transmission but some error codes pop out.

I have been trying to fix for my Honda Accord 2006 model for sometime now

When I start the car and accelerate, i can feel the car is shaking or wobbling from the accelerator (like the car is dancing left and right, I can actually feel it on the accelerator) but after I gain some speed, it stops and drives smoothly, when i slow down and try to accelerate samething happens again

I took it to a mechanic, the mechanic said it was the bushing, he changed some bushings, changed downleak, changed breakpad and also changed the hub bearing for both sides

But the problem is still there, he later said it was the tire, that I should take it to a vulcanizer, the vulcanizer checked the four tires and said the tires where okay (two different vulcanizers)

I don't know if I should buy a car scanner, if the car scanner can be able to detect the fault

I don't know what to do, all these mechanic for Benin matter don tire me, them too like trial by error, na so Dem scatter my Benz, sold a whole Benz for scrap for 300k

Please what is the issue with the car and can anyone recommend a good Honda mechanic in Benin city

One or more of your tyres could be bad. Have a vulcanizer check it.
Finally do alignment on the front wheels.

Two different vulcanizers checked it already

I will try a different one again and do the alignment, thank you

Please gurus in the house my 07 camry 2.4 acceralates very sluggish one's I hit 2000 rpm under load and on normal road not hill.
Its feels like something is dragging the engine back from acceleration one's it gets to 2000rpm while driving but on idling its accelerates well.
Have changed fuel pump, spark plugs and also swap throttle body yet no result.
No DTC set even when scanned no pending code

Sir please how were you able to resolve this issue, (sluggish accelaration) it seems i am having similar issue.

Good morning gurus in the house,

I have a Toyota Corolla 2010 I bought straight from Canada. I took the car to a filling station for oil change and the guy there recommended Mobil 20W-50 which I have continued to use 2 more times.
I decided to read the car manual and found out I have been using the wrong engine oil as the manufacturers recommended SAE 5W-20 or 0W-20 engine oils.

My questions are thus:
1) Do I continue to use the 20W-50 or should change to the manufacturers recommendations
2) If I need to change to manufacturers’ recommendations, what steps or precaution should I take in making the transition back to manufacturer’s recommendation?

Thanks as I await your responses.

if it was purchased as a tokumbo just go ahead and change it to the recommended oil and keep an eye on your exhaust smoke and oil level

If you are going to use high quality oil from good brands like mobil1 and the like , switch to 0w20 or 5w20. If it's those 12k per gallon for synthetic oil you gonna buy, just jeje stay where you are.

You can change to the recommended oil as long as it's original.
Pay close attention to the oil level and exhaust tip for smoke.
Also listen attentively for strange noise from the engine to ensure you're safe with the switch.
Thanks.

Scan threw this code

P0121 : Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A/Circuit Range /performance

P0123 : Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A/Circuit High

P2135 : Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A / B Voltage Correlation.

Sir GAZZUZZ Could this be why my car is having sluggish acceleration, all this while.

Please could you suggest the solution.
Is it Throttle body issue or throttle pedal?

While the car is sluggish in motion, if i shift to neutral and restart the car, then put it on drive it accelerates fine and reverts back to sluggish after few minutes.

I wish there is a way to know which is the culprit between the throttle body and pedal sensor as the diagnosis pointed out.

Good morning house, Happy Sunday.
So I have a Camry 2014 xle, which I took to the filling station to refill. the fuel indicator is about to reach the point where it will show warning but it hasn’t gotten there yet. Due to fuel scarcity I told them to fill it with 60.6 liters . Immediately they filled it up I noticed my car won’t accelerate very well. The acceleration is very slow. So I have 3 questions? How much liters can my fuel tank take at max. 2. What could be the cause of the slow acceleration and 3. How can I fix this without taking it to the mechanic. Thanks house.

If it only shakes during acceleration. Then your drive shaft maybe the culprit. Get new ones. The mechanic that changed brake pads and hub mustve been drunk

Yesterday i did my first oil change after 6000km of ownership.
I wanted to use Pennzoil but this buhari regime has made poverty catch up with me and the extra 5k naira i couldn't afford
From research i found out Canadian corolla doesn't come with the maintenance reminder light so I've decided to keep track manually and change oil and filter every 7 to 8k km.
Lastly kazeem was saying the oil was too light, but that's not his fault.
I plan to do all repairs myself but he refused to buy the oil filter tool which i gave him money for .
I didn't want to try with the locally constructed chain.
Please what is the dimension for the tool as i want to order it from ali express and i don't want to get the wrong one.

Why Aliexpress?
Simply take your new or old filter to any local shop that sells spanners and the likes. You will get a good match.
Ignore that kazeem.
