Welcome home! Too bad you didn't plan returning now, really sorry life turned out this way. Too bad the state of Nigeria is worst as cost of living is on the high side but situation has brought you home. May God give you the grace to stand strong again.
Have read a lot of mockery comments, this not the time to make stupid jokes of their arrival.
Friends and families should please try and comfort them cos as it is now, some have lost their properties, businesses, a lot of assets. Pls do well to comfort and encourage them so it won't lead them to depression. My prayers to them �

Can only imagine the scrambling and lobbying before these were picked. A lot of addition and deletion of names. A lot of politics went underground to select these ones first- probably politicians' pikins. Others may not get same opportunity. Any ways, welcome.

All my cousins and friends in Ukraine are still there. They're even more comfortable there despite the war. I called one on WhatsApp two days ago, he was even cooking egusi soup. It's only on Nairaland I'm seeing FG evacuating Nigerians.

Maybe these ones returning are the "ajebos". Sons and daughters of rich men.

On another note, this is not fair to students back home who are facing ASUU strike.
Now FG has spent over $3m in bringing back students who went to contribute massively to Ukraine economy meanwhile ours back home were left to suffer strikes. If $1m is even injected into our universities it would go a long way.
