Akpos will need more time to really show us his stuff. This is why he should not be turning down invites. Na himself he dey do.

chrisooblog:
Chief he featured in 4 solid games which is enough to see what a player is all about but his performances were very average to put it mildly.

How many times did Ebuehi, Zaidu and Aribo play before we saw their qualities?

Even Sadiq Umar with less minutes played was beginning to settle but we should make excuses for Akpos.

Forget your tags , how many players have gone straight to the best teams in the Bundesliga from the championship ❓

Akpoguma will not make the bench at Fulham and Fulham is way better than Hoffenheim and has superior quality players.

So let's examine my proposition by team composition analysis: Below two screens shots of players and bench of both teams in a recent match.

Let's start from the back main CB's for Fulham are T.Ream ( USA 48 caps) , Adarabioyo ( CB) Hector (Jamaican 35 caps), Wing backs - Tete( Dutch 14 caps) Robinson (USA, ?) Williams ( Liverpool loanee Wales caps 17) l will not talk about Terence Kongolo who is Dutch international but very injury prone.

Hoffenheim main CBs are Akpoguma, Hubner, Grillitsch, Posch, no senior international caps apart from Akpoguma 4 for Nigeria. Wing backs Kadeřábek (45 caps Czech) Raum (3 caps Germany),

Let's look at the midfield , Fulham currently Anguissa is on loan at Napoli ( not sure why he not in the Championship with Fulham) Carvalho ( pre contract to Liverpool FC) Chalobah, Seri( 38 caps Cote d'Ivoire) Onomah, Cairney( Scotland caps 2)

Now let's look at Hoffenheim Midfielders , Gieger, Baumgartner (17 caps Austria), Stiller, Samassékou (17 caps for Mali)

And finally the main forward player's; Bebou (19 caps Togo and the top goal scorer si far this season with 7 goals in the Bundesliga), Kramaric (65 caps Croatia) Dabbur (33 caps for Israel) Rutter.

Now let's look at Fulham strikers; Mitrovich, highest number of goals scored in a season in the history of the Championship so far , with 34 goals from 32 games. Essentially astounding. I'm sure some of you remember the two goals he scored against us in a friendly game 2018.

Other forward players are Decordova-Reid (16 caps for Jamaica) , Kebano ( Congo 7 caps) H.Wilson (29 caps for Wales)

Mitrovich is on near £90k a week.

There are more than five players who have scored at least 7 goals in Fulham in the Championship.

In my honest opinion if Hoffenheim played Fulham FC they would get beat COMPREHENSIVELY. In every department Fulham are better. Bebou will not get into the Fulham team their best striker. Consider Ivan Cavaleiro (Portuguese 3 caps) he can't get into the team always on the bench he is much better than Bebou.

Please put emotive sentiment based preference aside and be objective.

what is this ogogoro analysis??

Samson Tijani comes in for Salzburg

So happy

Another Sunday oliseh, jorginho type player on the way.
I can remember how European clubs were chasing him when he was still in Nigeria.
He is in a club that will develop him.
Red bull Salzburg main aim is to develop young players and sell them to the top leagues of Europe.
I wish more of our young players were in Red bull. That team deserves an award for helping young players

Mamadou Sakho captained PSG at 17 ,played 4 seasons at Liverpool fell out with Klopp and moved to Crystal palace he has 29 caps for France. And you are calling him average.

I will remind you Omeruo couldn't cut it in the Championship and was unable to progress at Middlesbrough. But many regard him as our best defender I don't.

You are calling Mustafi, average he was a top performer in the Seria A and LaLiga , although he spent 3 seasons in Everton but never played one game for the first team.

Soyoncu was a top performer in the Bundesliga before coming to the EPL.

Mangala was an outstanding performer in Porto which pabed the way for him to go to Manchester city.

If you are calling these defenders average then what does that make our defenders. Awaziem could only get into Porto B with a few game's in the first team.

Yes these defenders were not outstanding in the EPL , a testament to the high level competitive nature of the EPL.
They are all average defenders, I repeat if a player like Lindelof and Michael Keane can be playing EPL football then Akpoguma can do it. The last time I Checked Burnley and Newcastle are in the EPL and none of their defenders are world class

Akpoguma also captained Germany U21 side

The only way you can compare Fulham with Hoffenheim is with the wages they pay their players, on all other stuff Hoffenheim is way better.

Winning 35 caps with Jamaica and Wales is not a big deal, If Akpoguma was Jamaican he will have up to 50 caps for them too.

Also you conveniently forgot to Mention Rudy and Bicakcic that have 29 caps and 35 caps for their countries at Hoffenheim, If Akpoguma signs for Fulham right now he will bench Adarabioyo with 0 international caps to his name.

So EPL is better than champions league where he is top scorer too abi? Please.

Haller did not fit West Ham system is different from Haller was an EPL flop. Look at Osimhen and Lukaku struggling at Napoli and Chelsea, excellent strikers but struggling in systems that do not fit their profile. Take the same Lukaku you see at Chelsea to Arsenal, City or Liverpool and watch him bang in goals like no tomorrow.

He was woeful abeg....his wing was like an Express way. A CB who couldn't even perform well at RB, how is he going to perform at CB?

I am confused… so if you take a rugby player to basketball and he flops you will say that after all, both sports involve throwing a ball abi? RB is very different from CB, the defending you do in both is very different and not all players can play both.

Salzburg cheesy cheesy cheesy

I want mancity or Liverpool to teach Bayern a lesson they will never forget

Liverpool that Inter beat at home with a red card? Bayern Munchen is a machine, playing them is like playing against 11 Mbappes. All strong, fast, tricky, deadly. They are all athletes in that team, if you can’t run for 90 mins you can’t play them. Look at Sane at LWB today bombing forward to score goals. Davies is not even in and it doesn’t look like they are missing anything. Fear that team abeg.

Haller wasn't an EPL flop, he was at best an average player. Scoring 10 goals in 48 appearances doesn't make one a flop.

There is nothing special about Bayern ,small German teams have beaten them several times in the bundesliga

No be only 11 mbappe ,Na Salzburg dem go fit do that one nah ,Bayern are not that good like before ,if you follow them at the bundesliga you will know ,this same Bayern first team wey mochenglabach win 5-0 and Bochum 4-2 ?

Liverpool have already sealed the game at the first leg bro ,and don’t make it look like inter got the red card earlier ,inter got the red card after they scored

Rugby and Basketball doesn't correlate with my comparison cos both are different sports... Playing as a RB is a lot easier than playing as a CB IMO ...Awaziem was played as a makeshift RB and he didn't flop like Akpors.

My guy forget am Lukaku won't fit in at Liverpool, of all those teams u mentioned, its only Man City that he can fit in, cos of the way the play, though they like being in possession of the ball the move it very fast, which is something he likes alot, and they have creative midfielders who can give him those passes he wants.
