The Nigerian Airforce just like any other Airforce around the world is tasked with protection of the territorial integrity of it's nation airspace. The Nigerian Airforce is the most sophisticated Airforce in the entire West African sub-region having participated in countless wars, missions and campaigns.
It's equipped with fighter aircrafts, Helicopter gunships, Attack aircrafts and other aircraft types.

Note: This list would include some retired airframes

First on the list, is the Nigerian Airforce Alpha jet. This is the workhorse of the Nigerian Airforce. It's the prominent attack platform of the Nigerian Airforce. It was first purchased in the 1980s. Initially 24 airframes were ordered. In recent years, more were ordered. Unfortunately, some had crashed and were written off. Currently, atleast 13 airframes are serviceable. Alot of the airframes have been upgraded locally. These planes has served in missions across North East Nigeria, Northwest Nigeria, Liberia Civil wars, Sierra Leone civil war, 2017 intervention in Gambia, airstrikes in Southern Niger, etc. Most Nigerian Airforce airstrikes were conducted by the Alpha jet.

Next on the list, is the Nigerian Mil Gunship helicopter series. The Mil gunships are Russian built combat helicopters. The helicopters were purchased in the early 2000s for the Nigerian Airforce in order to combat the Niger-delta militancy. Currently, the Nigerian Airforce operates the Mi-24v, Mi-35p and the latest and modern version which is the Mi-35m.
Due to American sanctions on Russia, the delivery of the remaining 5 Mi-35m helicopters have been delayed.
The helicopters in the Nigerian Airforce inventory, are currently serving in the war theaters. Nigeria operates atleast 20 of the helicopter type.

The Nigerian Airforce Jaguar Jets are fighter bombers which were purchased in the early 80s by the shehu shagari administration. They were 18 in number. The planes had to be retired early in the mid 1990s during the Abacha regime due to sanctions and lack of spares and had a low service time. It was the most advanced aircraft purchased by the Nigerian Airforce until the arrival of the JF-17 fighter aircraft in 2021.

The planes are responsible for keeping the Nigerian airspace in check against intruders. It's a Chinese built aircraft, a Chinese version of the Mig 21. 15 aircrafts were purchased. Over the years few crashed, the recent being the mid air collision in Abuja few days to 1st October 2018.
They are mainly based at the Nigerian Airforce airbase, Makurdi, Benue state.

Nigerian Airforce Agusta Westland AW-109 helicopters are utility helicopters which are also modified into helicopter gunships. There are atleast 18 airframes in the Nigerian Airforce.
Currently, the gunships provide airsupport mostly in the Northwest, and are most suitable for low intensity conflicts. They are armed with gunpods and rockets.

The Nigerian A 29 super tucano is a turboprop ground attack aircraft. The Brazilian-American airframe was purchased in the most expensive deal of the Nigerian Airforce, valued by atleast 550 million dollars from the government of the United States. 12 of the airframes were purchased.
The aircrafts are based at the Air combat training group, Kanji with some of the aircrafts being deployed in the North East, currently combating ISWAP and JAS elements. It brings unique abilities to the Nigerian Airforce and it's and advanced craft

The Ah-1z supercobra attack gunship, is an American built attack helicopter. Nigeria has paid 800 million dollars for the purchase of 12 airframes and support spares.
Currently, the delivery is being delayed due to human right records. Sources familiar with the matter claims this situation is similar to the purchase of the Super Tucano and would be cleared soon.
If eventually delivered, it would be a game changer for the Nigerian Airforce.

Which Air Support? You forgot to mention the incompetence of the quota-system pilots flying these gunships.

Go and check the inventory of the Algerian and Egyptian Air Force and see what serious Countries operate in their Air Force.

May God help all of you to prevent any serious war, external aggression & invasion against Nigeria; the woes of Ukraine will be a child’s play in comparison to what will roast & incinerate all of you.

You’re not even ashamed of yourself.

Mentioning Augusta AW-109 that farmers are using for aerial application of pesticides & fertilizer on their farmlands in Europe.

Our fleet is made up of mostly 1st and 2nd generation aircrafts. The only few here that are close to 3rd generations are the JF-17 and the Tucano. Next time, our govt should save money to buy the Russian made Sukhoi SU-25, SU-27 and other variants of it that we probably would be able to afford. Russian planes are miles cheaper than the ones from the west.
