Nigerian actress, Kemi Afolabi, has opened up on her battle with Lupus, an inflammatory condition where the immune system attacks its own tissues and organs.

During an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, the thespian broke down in tears as she revealed the doctors said she has only 5 years to live and she has lived one year out of that already.

According to Kemi, she has spent so much money already to manage it as the disease is incurable.

“I have lupus. It’s not curable. You just have to take medications for the rest of your life.” She said.

She quoted her doctor as saying, “Make sure you are with your loved ones. At least, you still have up to five years.”

The actress further explained that she spent N1.2m on treatment, but there was little or no change and she was continually in pain.

Lupus is a debilitating autoimmune disease which attacks the whole body, causing skin sores, pains throughout the body, lack of breath, and kidney and heart problems.

Na only one person get this diseases? I don't know her, but may God the creator heal her

Doctors are doing their works but they are not the creator, God has the final say. Even if you have 5 days to live, please give your life to Christ. I don't want to miss that place for anything. Lupus is a horrible disease that attacks several organs. That said, even though it does not have a cure, most people who live with lupus and treat it carefully get to live a normal life-span. Not sure why a doctor would say that to her.

Madam I dont know you oh but I can say for sure that you have at least 4 years to seek the face of Jesus to heal you.

Unlike the Most Peaceful Religion on Earth, the God of the bible heals.

Jesus raises people from the dead, so Him healing you is no big deal to Him
