I'm facing the same thing too. But my own case is that I'm a student, and I needed money to start my project, I don't want to bother my dad, he Don try for me because he just paid my school fees of 160k, plus my Lodge rent and textbook money too, and he's also paying my younger sisters school fees, (100 level) too, plus my other siblings, now, it's time to payback and I don't even have any means, as I've used the money to pay for my project. cry

So how has the loan company ruined you? You took a loan when you clearly knew you had no means of paying back, so what were you expecting? Will you take similar loans from your friends and colleagues and not expect to pay back? Aside closing these loan sharks, I think the government really needs to deal with you defaulters because what you lots do is clearly an act of theft.

Hi every one, l have been a nairalander for over 10 years and have seen people get advised here, thats why l am putting this up with my account.
I am not blaming anybody for my predicament, neither do l blame the loan app company for their shark like business sytle, l take responsibility for my actions. I am one of those people who criticized people for Falling into the trap of online loan company. It's basically a rat race syndrome and tends to take you deeper and deeper from the seemingly innocuous first attempt.

It all started when my side hussle of buying and selling food stuff suffered a decreased in cost of replacement due to inflation and my sales boy stealing my money. I took my first loan to boost my business and realized that the cost of the loan is high. Since then, it's been a malicious cycle of robbing Peter to pay Paul. I realized that l was lossing money in each transcation and in order to meet up with my payment to avoid defaulting, l resorted to other loan company. Now, l don't even no what to do, all cash injection coming to me is spent on servicing the loan. I can't even feed my family and pay my children school fees. I am tire of this scenario and want to break free. It has taken a toil on me physically, mentally and spiritually.

I seek advice from people who have gone thru this ugly experience on how to break free before it is too late. Below is the list of my indebtness:

Its time for your church members and pastors to come in. Tell them your problems tomorrow after service, from there God will help you. This can only work if you're a committed member of the church.

Same scenario with my cousin, he just resort to family begging, lol, it's kinda funny, how much family could help... Just speak to any or many of your family members, it will amaze you how much they can come up with. From our side we raised 35k for him... Next time, just do with what you have...

Going by the content of this news item you have about N100,000.00 less to worry about.

You have a find a way to pay off those loans or risk defaulting and undermining your credit worthiness. As a business man, this will be bad for your integrity and that of your business.

These guys will take your pictures and name to the spiritual world and do you strong things so that you won't be able to pay but only pay their interest. You won't prosper with their money, but you will pay for their own interest. A girl who was a member of one of these groups borrowed from someone I know 10,000 naira for two years he couldn't pay back that money, but he paid interest of over 200k.

LAPO and others are very good at these game may God help you man

I'm currently facing the same pain. Now I am forced to do night jobs. I have begged everyone on my contact list. I hardly sleep at night. Mine started when jumia fined my store for counterfeit products. I was charged 140k for my 2 online store.

Now sapa they pursue me left and right. Loan app only added to my problems.
LCredit are the worst. I'm thinking of driving korope to meet up so I can pay my landlord. Sometimes I even fill like joining Ukraine in the war.

You lack financial discipline that's the reason for your debt-ridden life. My advice will be you stop taking any further loan because you need to come out of the hole first.

If you have good network of friends doing well for themselves, get a N200k loan with a realistic repayment plan (30k monthly will clear it in about 7 months). Pay all these creditors back once and never go back to them.

It pays to leave within our means and damn the consequences.

Let me give you a crazy solution coz you seem to be in a fix, that's if you see it as one. Compile non existent phone numbers and numbers you don't mind if msgs are sent to.
Copy all ur sim and phone contacts to your Gmail and Remove your Gmail account temporarily. Now use the fake contacts to do borrowing from new loan apps and use that to boost your business. Make sure u borrow more then enough o.
You have nothing to fear....no one can shame you. Lol, you cannot come and die. If they send msgs to you contacts, e no concern u. Fakes contacts niwon

Bros na u just dey worry urself. I was in a much bigger mess than u but I broke free when soko loan double debited me. I wrote mails and call them tire. The refused to return my money.
Then I took the decision to borrow as much as possible from non registered loan apps up to the tune of over 200k.
It helped me renew my international passport & I used the remaining complete my Japa movement.
Today I am happily living where I am.
My advice to is: ignore there calls, threats, etc.
