LZAA: I don't know why u called Chinese your lords.. But don't be deceived, China and US, Europe have good economic relationship despite their ideological differences, don't just stay here to and assume, go and read about Chinese investments and every nook and cranny of the world.. And yes, I never said loan apps shouldn't conform with financial laws guiding their operations, but borrowers too should not be having the intention to default. What is good for the goose is like wise good for the gander |
Re: FG Shuts Illegal Online Banks, Freezes Business Accounts by Dagrace01(m): 9:39am On Mar 13, 2022 |
Proboy21: Very wrong to insult or defame anyone, but is it good for someone to also take loans he have the intention not to pay back? Let's be realistic here, both parties are guilty.. Loan apps are guilty of going extra miles because not all defaulters that has the intention not to pay. While sime borrowers are also guilty of going ahead to obtain loans they know they can't pay back in the stipulated date. And talking about jobs, let federal government provide jobs so that youths won't run to loan companies for solace... The jobs available now are teaching job of 25-30k monthly while these companies pay double and more.. There should be law guiding the activities of both the loan companies and the borrowers. 1 Like |

Plus10:They're paying tax ooo.. And the borrowers know these terms and conditions before going ahead to obtain those loans, how do u justify that? Yes they've faults for operating illegally and defaming people, but how about the people? I applied for 40k and I'm told to repay 55k while we I go ahead to obtain that kinda loan? U cum collect am finish cum dey complain say e too much, were u given the money under duress? If u say may government close am down, it won't affect the owners one bit, na ur country e go affect, millions of borrowers who sustain their businesses with these petty loans would be affected, thousands of youths would go back to the street and u know what that means.. Rather we should agree that standards and regulations shoyd be given to these companies so everyone would be happy! 1 Like |

Dagrace01:Once again you are missing the point Now let me school you There are 3 major telecollection agencies for licensed loan firms here and none of them take the silly measures the firms u are defending take to recover loans Infact they actually sack staff who abuse or are hostile to customers Can u see the difference Also i called them your Chinese overlords because you seem to accept their methods of debt recovery is OK Whereas it's not And finally whatever economic benefits that those countries share becomes moot when the chinese violates the law Also see an internal memo from a loan company you are defending 1 Like

Re: FG Shuts Illegal Online Banks, Freezes Business Accounts by Proboy21: 12:53pm On Mar 13, 2022 |
Dagrace01:I understand you but truth is most people actually want to pay back but the time duration is short av seen people who tell me they should give them few days more to pay up even with the overdue charges I had a colleague then in the office that approached me to borrow him some money so he can pay this people I was only able to borrow him half of the money at the time, and he told the agent to please give him till the next day to sort it out, funny thing is he paid the half I gave him only for people to start calling him later in the evening that they got messages. When he called the guy back that how could he do that the bastard agent was just shouting and insulting him and threatening him the more and he was still calm and begging upon the insult. And when the second day came he paid and agent didn't send message to retract o. The default was just 1 day o. So they do not have intentions to actually collect money alone but to defame people if the aim is to collect money there are ways to go about it even if you will.take actions everyone will see that they have tried which one is defaming because of 1 day default |

Dagrace01:Truth is that they won't like to be regulated. Being regulated would mean putting a cap on their lending rate and extending tenor. No sane regulator would agree to over 300% per annum and tenor of 7days or less as obtainably with most of these loan apps. |
