Resistance is only as a result of the US and Nato urging them to their destruction all because they found a puppet and clown to us.
Without the prodding of the US, this war needed not to have happened.
Do you know most of the heavy industry in Ukraine were designed to service one market, Russia. From aircraft industry (antonov), to turbine engine industry for ship engines and power generation, all to service Russia.
The budget if Ukraine is partly funded from Russian gas transit fees to Europe.
As a smart man, the president should have played both sides. Benefit from his main market ie Russia and also from the west.
