I used to have this problem not until my wife gave birth to our baby boy.
Neighbors visit were frequent in our house to congratulate us, the joy was pure and I love it.
After days of visit, I and my wife checked our house lobby, different sizes and products of detergents took the lead of our baby's gifts, almost 2/3 of the gifts.
Just enter to the house with joy, greet the baby and the mother, light topic of discussion, when leaving, just drop that fancy detergent.
We didn't buy detergent for almost a year plus in our house and I love it.

You'd start thinking if you should join them to cry or try to crack joke. Keeping your face normal will make you think you're not remorseful enough. Na that one dey concern me pass.

Hope y’all are fine...I say make I come see una since una return from hospital...I want to thank God for safe delivery...carry the baby,speak words of greatness to the baby...hand over the baby to mum and hand Mum with ur cash/kind gift...then bounce out’

If u be woman...just know u will stay a bit longer with mum...play with the baby and add some of what I posted up there’

U can also pray for the baby and family before jetting out

Very simple, just stroll in there. Crack some jokes, If na boy them born, ask the man to try and do DNA test Asap. But If na girl, ask that you want to do small thing on her head so when she's of age, you can we'd her.

I agree with the advice above except that I do not support the idea of going there to "touch" someone's newborn baby. If you like to touch a newborn baby without being accused of anything evil (or so), then simply go and have your own!

My neighbor is having a quarrel with his wife currently .
THE issue is that a worker (bricklayer) in the street who also patronize his wife shop came to greet his wife that just gave birth that the baby should have resemble him(worker).
