Currently in my room, just rolling on the bed, heavy heat in the room as there is no light. Ontop of that, the neighbours generator just pounding my head heavily as the noise is just too much.

A lot of people are in this situation in Nigeria. How do they sleep also realising that plenty bills to be paid.

Apple fruit just one is now 250 naira, Airflight fare may be going to 120,000 naira per trip soon. Cost of things skyrocketing everyday in naija and salary still remains the same.

How do we sleep? God help us!

This is just a preview of what NIGERIANS would be witnessing in no distant future.

Those your neighbor who put on their gen overnight might not have same thinking as yours.

Don't you think.

Both state and FG seem not to ready to fix this epileptic power supply in the country, some people have never experienced 7 days uninterrupted light before in their whole life..

One of the fools we have around SMH

You are selfish. You want him to join you to suffer in darkness and heat when he has a gen and fuel? I put it to you that you will do the same if you had money to buy gen and petrol.

Companies are moving out of Nigeria in drove. The cost of consumer commodities are high because the cost of productions is above board.

So sad

When you complain, they call you a wailer, an unpatriotic citizen suffering from inferiority complex especially if you try to compare us with white countries.

When you mention that maybe we get Harvard and MIT grads or the best of the best here, to be leaders, they say they rather local, tested and trusted corrupt politicians. Their trust is directly proportional to the scale of corruption, the more corrupt you are, the more you are trusted.

When you say, okay let’s divide the country or at least have regions sort themselves out, they tell you that this British creation, one not of their own ancestral doing, can never be undone. Never ever ever!

Who are they? Your fellow Nigerians.

Can I even blame them? It’s like the chicken and the egg question, which came first? If the egg came first, then what laid it? If the chicken came first, then how did it come to be?

Leaders or more accurately, rulers here in Naija bastardize the country and leave citizens uneducated, citizens in turn support the corrupt leaders to further impoverish them. Who is to be blamed? The citizens or the rulers?

Anyways, may God be with you bro and help you to rise above the many challenges! It is about time I return to the deep, sigh.

This is a very sad junction in the history of our country. A country with great potentials going down the shitters because of clueless and corrupt leaders, Ignorant and uninformed followers who support their tormentors. The next 20 years in that country may well be hell on earth if there is no radical change in trajectory.

2023 is around the corner and these clueless individuals are at it again. no manifestos to run on, no concrete plan to move the country forward. No plan for power, regionalism, mechanized agriculture, state police.

The clueless citizens don't even ask difficult questions before blindly giving votes to their tormentors.

Nobody is taking about protest again. The protest during Jonathan was instigated by a particular tribe in this country, even using their church. They did it because they wanted power. They did it because they always betray. They did it for their selfish interests. They control the media and used it against Jonathan. Today no body talks about fuel subsidy, diesel, food stuff, unemployment, hyper looting of our common wealth.
Today, the same vultures are gathering to demand that the presidency be given to them because they worked hard to install the king that is in London today.

It is very appalling that none of those who gathered to protest against Jonathan can make pim again. Even the white haired fool who is a known cultists have lost his voice. The other one that owns Sahara desert Jankara reporter have not spoken out instead he speaks because the King in London refused to compensate him.

Karma knows everyone's address even if you are homeless.

5 pages on this thread filled with complaints upon complaints.

The world thought the COVID-19 would mark an end to the survival of humanity and different economies would crash but guess what? Millionaires were birthed during that Era.

I'm not saying the situation of things in Nigeria is not gut-wrenching and disappointing, but the question is how can we alleviate our standard of living and quality of lives?

Are we going to fold our hands and continue whining and bickering? Or we are going to diversify our means of income. I've seen so many people who have taken up farming this season, so-called classy people because they have projected that things are getting uglier by the day.

People are still making money this season, best believe that.

Let's see how we can stay head above water abeg. No be to dey nag.

Have you blamed this government for what is currently happening in Ukraine?

I still don't understand why some of you people come online with only intentions of attacking, accusing and abusing others daily. It's all glaring in your comments history.

Blaming and wailing is now becoming generational things in Nigeria most especially from the opposition.. And the truth is , I have never opposed any government in Nigeria before, I don't like to play the role of opposition as a Nationalist..

Infact if Pdp wins in 2023, na to admit the new reality and support the government to succeed not looking for anything to vindicate evil wishes.

When I first became active on this forum, the first set of people who attacked and trolled me are the then opposition who are now in Apc cos I did not only support GEJ's government, I defended it as well but as for reelection, nah, I backed out, same as Trump.

Back to this thread, if you read it carefully, I have listed the possible causes, thinking and mentality of average Nigerians and Politicians with possible solutions to the epileptic power supply.

That should be the role of any opposition party or group only if they have good intentions....

This government, from the Local government chairmen to senators, governors and presidents are colossal failures. I honestly don't take you serious if you believe leaders should not be held accountable. This is beyond APC/PDP/TRIBE/RELIGION matter. We may not have a country in 10 years time.
