00FFT00: The only wise comment. Any law that Buhari perceive to be for Tinubu's interest will always be thwarted. Tinubu will understand better soon |

Brendaniel: Just few days ago o. No adjournment for further hearing, kangaroo justice system. Who is the defendant and who is the complainant?? Best leader attracts best of allies who will work with him in his cabinet. Buhari attract his kinds no doubt. Malami has become both pencil and eraser of the law all by himself. 1 Like |

Brendaniel: My problem is that most of us are on this forum celebrating Mr Malami. Forgetting that what he just did is opening the pandora box. If the court can give such a kangaroo order for a law passed by the legislative process and accented by the president, then we are doom. Tomorrow, of course nobody stays in power forever, another Attorney General will do the same on any law he feels he not ok with. This is because Mr Malami has sent a precedent. For those saying that the amended electoral law is not in tune with the constitution of the land, that's a fallacy because the law do not stop anyone from voting and be voted for, but for political appointees, you must resign to create a level playing field for everyone. That's fairness and justice. Coming days will be interesting, politically, economically etc The youth, the leaders of tomorrow were are we in all these?? |

Michelle70:why don't you want it deleted? Is not deleting it solve the huge problems of this country? Law markers are supposed to be making good laws but instead they choose to witch hunt others. This is what happens when you vote stupid people to the senate and house of reps. They don't know their duties and responsibilities as law makers. |

pquaver: Do you know what you are saying, I don't think so, to delete something means to make change and not interpret, to interpret is to explain for better understanding, that is not what happened here, deleting is to remove something which was legislated upon in the constitution, no court not even the supreme court has the power to delete any part of the constitution made by the legislative arm, if they can add or remove any part of the constitution then they have made themselves law makers too, which is not under their jurisdiction, that is why till today no region can sue the FG to court asking for a referendum because the constitution does not support it, no court can add it, only the law makers can do that, so please know what you are saying, what happened here is judicial rascality... 1 Like |
