Noted! Thanks so much @Teemenzo God will see us through

Teemenzo:

Mine could be different. Fanshawe college does not allow international students to apply directly. They have some affiliated agents who stand in for us and makes the process fast. They sent the list of agents to me and I selected one of them called Maple Education Canada. They collected my documents as related to my field, applied for me. And I got my admission in a week.

Hi guys. So me I've even forgotten about this Canada dream. Had first refusal in October 2019, re-applied March 2020. They didn't say anything since and I forgot. They just sent me request for medical.
I no longer have the admission obviously, I don't have passport (It has expired).
Should I bother myself trying to get these things back? Is a request for medicals still a strong hint of a pending Approval? What do you guys think?
na wa oo IRCC no dey pity person...this is unfair since 2020

Hello @teemenzo,

What list of documents require to apply for PGC in international business management?
And how can I apply?

As you have done yours please put me through. Thanks

Potential Documents needed to apply for admission in a College for PG. Cert program (most especially to a college that requires you to apply via the Ontariocollege.ca international portal e.g Conestoga, Cambrian, Candore etc.)

sorry to bother you, what is the process of getting the loan like?
someone tried to discourage me, saying the entire process seems unachievable

Hello. I had N7m in my account. I also showed my spouse account of about N5m. I had actually wanted to request less than $30k but had read information on the internet of MPower giving less than what the student requests. Didn’t think I would get the full amount but I did. Hope this helps
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by amila20042001: 12:08pm On Mar 19, 2022
i submitted two days ago in access bank
how long it takes depends on the bank and also the number of customers on the queue for the transaction.

anyways i'm hopeful i will be debited before the deadline given by the school

Abby212:
Have you succeeded with it? How long does it take and what is the process? please
Thanks

Did you notice the semblance in the refusal reasons?

My opinion, its related to your SOP and the difference in your work experience compared to your proposed study. That's for Purpose of Visit

Secondly, home ties. Your hometies could also stand in for some part of your personal asset and financial status. Meaning your property, financial investments and obligations. Your parents and siblings, spouse(if any), job, business also are your home ties.

I really can't say much about the employment prospect because i no know weti concern them. Na dem get your life?

Bottom line, work more on your SOP and declared all you have in Nigeria.

@Teemenzo Thanks for your response

Yes the similarity in refusal grounds was obvious. I worked on the reasons from the second application's gcms with a LOE but the VO questioned the purpose of visit. 'Purpose of visit' was the only refusal reason for the third application.
A senior person thinks I should go for a masters in probably ba cos of my experience as a manager/supervisor in a small-scale food processing enterprise since 2016. I have been getting admitted to health and safety programs (PG certificate for the third one) which is closely related to my bsc.
VO from second application: "The applicant's plan of studies appears vague and poorly documented given applicant's last level of studies obtained in the field and applicant's employment experience, purpose does not appear reasonable"
Could it be the study gap? graduated 2014.
Career progression?
Relationship with my experience?
Or pure oversabi VO?

Hullo all. I'm planning on applying for a study permit for January as I don't think there is enough time for September and I don't want to go through the hassles of admission deferrals or starting online. I have someone willing to pay my school fees for me in my chosen institution from their own account (a one year Ontario post graduate certificate). After that they will boost my account balance to about 9m, Is that enough to apply as self sponsored?

9m is too much self if you gave paid full tuition and a single person. You are not self sponsored because you did not gather the money yourself. Don't shoot your leg. Collect all the neccessary documents to prove your sponsor's financial ability and your relationship with the fellow. All the best.

The person paying isn't a direct relative and I heard that normally raises flags in sponsorship. The plan is to get the receipt for fully paid tution and he then funds my account up to the said amount(he is a close friend of my dad and family. We even call him uncle though we aren't related)

In theory, it is enough.

In practice, it is not enough because no Ontario College offers paid tuition or entrance scholarship. Hence, you'll need to calculate your total expenses as tuition fee for a year or two if the course is two years + $10,000 living expenses or ($20,000 if you're staying for two years) + some change to provide for miscellaneous expenses.

For courses lasting more than a year, IRCC states $10k as living expenses + one year tuition, but to be on a safe side, show them two year tuition fee and two year living expenses.

If after calculating this, and it's equivalent to #9m: then, you're good to go.

That's a generic response, its not the reason. Let him screenshot the letter but concealing his personal detailsvon the letter.

Also he should order for his GCMS notes.

Don't worry, the new advisory is effective 12am EDT, which is 5am in Nigeria. Your flight is 1pm, so the rule would have already been in place before your departure. Show them the news if they disturb you at the airport
