Hi everyone,

So am looking to travel to Thailand for summer. Is there anything I should be aware of as a Nigerian passport holder? Thanks

Not a big fan of Dubai but thanks for the contribution. Also saw an Island in Thailand that I can't get off my mind.

Also, if you want to vacation somewhere in the region, try Papua New Guinea.

There's no reason to vacation there. Unless of course you want to engage in human tr4fficking and use various drugs.

I really like Thailand. I have vacationed there several times. It was my first time in Bangkog, but I don't really like the nightlife, I prefer a more secluded holiday. Therefore, when I found a description of Mae Kampong in one of the tourist guides, I decided that this place would be the best for my holiday this year. I really like that this tourist village is good for a family relaxing holiday, but at the same time, this place has enough entertainment for all tastes for tourists.

Hi OP, did you ever get any info on this.

Really looking to plan an Asian holiday this year and have been trying to get info on Thailand, Vietnam or Phillipines visa for their affordable islands. Please let me know if you found anything other than tour agents - I find their insistence on booking full packages from them not particularly appealing to my kind of traveller.

Hi, it was hard yo! Lol. I gave up and settled for Malaga. I might try again next year if they do not copy Bali with their married people law. Vietnam should be nice, I heard.

Thanks a lot. I have scoured the net and found a few promising leads but the visa process (while super cheap price wise) seems stressful.

Fingers crossed I can tick this off my bucket list this year otherwise we try again another time.

Turns out that I'm absolutely rubbish at waiting out things so, I've closed on a Singapore/Kuala Lumpur trip for my Asian adventure this year.

The relative ease of their visas settled the choice and in the case of the other countries, the visa process and requirements e.g. NDLEA clearance are just not worth the struggle in my opinion.

Thanks again.

Personally, I can speak about luckyrent phuket quite well. When it comes to renting a motorcycle without any hassle, they are the best place to go. Their dedication to providing excellent service ensures that every ride is an enjoyable experience. You can confidently hit the road knowing that your vehicle is carefully cared for and regularly serviced to ensure maximum safety and reliability. I wholeheartedly recommend luckyrent-phuket for a hassle-free and enjoyable motorcycle rental experience.

An exciting choice for a summer getaway! I went to Thailand with my Nigerian passport – smooth sailing! Just make sure your passport's valid, and check visa requirements. Thai locals are super friendly, and the street food is a must-try! You can find places to go there https://thaitriplover.com/nightlife-entertainment. Enjoy your trip!
