Standing out is cool even if it's in a weird way. That's why black guys go for haircuts/hairstyles that command attention. They pierce their ears for the mere fact that it's believed not to be man's thing. Anything but usual is the goal and nail polishing hits the spot.

The truth is, men do tattoos, they grow thier hair, they pierce their ears, and they polish thier nails. It is what it is. Deciding you'd never talk to someone because of thier polished nails is way too judgemental in my opinion especially seeing as you wouldn't do that to men with pireced ears.
