Your right but look at it also in this context of using it to relate to what a particular tribe is known for. Example is that Yoruba's are known as the most educated in Nigerian so we can put up a statement like this igbo guy is so educated like he is a yoruba man or he must have grown up in the south west to be this educated. As fulanis are known for cattle business, you can put it this way if an igbo man is good and successful in cattle business like "This igbo man must have grown up with the fulanis to be successful in cattle business" same way igbos are very good in business and trading doesn't mean other tribes are not but generally all tribes in Nigeria know that's what they are known for.

I think you guys needs to stop this attitude of trying to see other tribes less. I have seen lots of guys that grew up in the east and squandered their money on hoes. They went back to zero. I know most of you guys are hardworking and resilient. Besides there are also lots of Hausas that grew up in Hausa land, made lots of money and invested it wisely.
