My brother my concern is not about those that are unhappy. Am talking about those who are happy with their marriage.

Marriage is a personal experience so don't generalise. Am a happy married man with kids and I been to poor and rich stage in my marriage and not at any point did it change the love we have as a family.

I respect your line of thought, but if you live in the western world, you will know such narrative holds no water....at most 50mls of water.
Go to care homes in the western world, ask some men about their family....for some they are just single people that enjoy their live in their hey days, knowing they will be feeble and frail at old age, and are proud of the memories they had without any regrets of their choice of being single.

For some, they are abandoned by their supposed family to the mercy of carers at the homes,,some even harbour regrets ever marrying, because it contributed majorly toward bringing them to the carehome, especially when they are not old enough.

One that struck me, this man's daughter kept malice with him till his death. He was so worried and in pains, but helpless because he is in his twilight. Pained man. My brother know pray make you marry woman wey go poison your own children mind against you ooo...na for people mouth you go dey hear say your pikin dey america or london because you are completely shut off their tracks..


My point is, even at old age...you could still feel isolated, abandoned and die a painful and regretful death even-though you married or had kids in your hey days.

One most important thing is, if you decide not to marry or have kids....channel the productive part of your life towards building pillars you can bank on when the sun goes down on you.

Yeah, being married create that opportunity of producing legitimate and not outcast offspring, while being single you are just alone, even when you go about enjoying and caughting all the fun you want.

I was awake for hours last night trying to figure out what the married enjoys that the single people do not.

I couldn't come up with anything logical or cogent points at all.

I now understand the reason why a lot of persons have chosen to stay single for as long as possible without plans of getting married.
