Ibos are hypocrites in a way. Suddenly they are mouthing off fake love for Soludo, meanwhile, they left Obiano & other SE Governors all to themselves to wrestle it out with Igbos. Sadly, it's a little too late because Igbos are ready to bring everyone down along themselves.

IPOB is protesting, the sit at home is their method of protest.

They don't want to endanger the lives of our Igbos sons and daughters hence they called for sit at home.

What exactly are they protesting for?

They want Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to be released.

So let government look into their grievances and free Kanu so that peace will return to Southeast.

When we told them this beast they were grooming would come back to devour them, the called us names. Today, South East is the most terrorised region in the country.

Angel Unknown Mengun, Una weldone o.

When Soludo issued the order, someone stated on the thread yesterday that these guys are cowards and won't dare to come out despite Soludo's declaration. True to his words, they didn't come out.

When Simon Ekpa started this madness, you people hailed him saying Buhari isn't even aware Ekpa pinning Kanu is a strategic mistake, tha Simon would give him more trouble. Obviously, the only people being troubled by the boy today are those who praised him yesterday.

Dear Easterners, your night might be very loooooong. Una ndoo.

Sitting @home every monday is counterproductive. E no dey work. We're losing on both fronts.

How many times did the Yorubas sit @ home 4 Igboho?

The local sentiments still actively support the sit at home. As for threats, umahi and uzodimma did more than this but nothing come out.

I urge soludo to take the approach taken by governors of abia and enugu which makes their States very peaceful.

If you follow uzodimma approach, soldiers will mount check points everywhere, there will be extra juducial killing and public opinion will quickly go against you.
Which approach and which peace, was not in the same Enugu that people were killed cause they deferred to the sit at home. People are just sitting at home cause they are scared of their lives.. nobody wants to die.

You are protesting by forcing people to stay at and kill those who deferred it.. nobody wants that lunatic to be released and believe me,mnk is not going to be released anytime soon. MNK is a con man who made money from innocent igbo lives.. Nobody gives a Bleep about MNK in the east,if not only his brainwashed minions and his militant wing going about killing innocent igbos. But those two governors never invited soldiers to kill their people as admitted by Uxodimma who said he invited soldiers to Orlu. Soludo has already hinted his people should expect more security men very soon. Won't that escalate the already fragile peace?

Why did uzodimma not invite soldiers in the first place when those militants were trying to overran his state, if it were will you sit down and watch them turn your state to another borno state. Wike did the same in obigbo and got rid of them, now they are now are enjoying relative peace there. Ipob would have imposed sit at home order in rivers state and start killing people who defers it.

That orlu axis and ihala side seems to be their headquarters in the SE that's why there is more of attacks in those axis.. you don't give cultists, terrorists and thugs chances like that and that's why I respect someone like wike. Well I hope you won't postpone it again when next Monday comes. Evil people, you leave sickness and it's cause and you're attacking the victims of the sickness. Ndị ara. Confused terrorists. grin grin

Nobody is ‘celebrating’ that fool!

If any partial observance of the already cancelled sit-at-home is being observed, then it’s either because some actually want to observe it or don’t feel safe! The ekpa fool is a nonentity!

I don’t really know the mechanics going on regarding this sit-at-home thing that’s still being observed either through fear or actually wanting to obey it, but i feel the state gov’ts of the south-east states need to come together and put pressure on that evil despot resident in Aso Rock to either release Mazi Kanu or speed up the trial which they are deliberately foot-dragging on! If Buhari wants to engineer the judicial process to eventually have Mazi Kanu ‘found guilty’, he should get on with it so everyone knows where they stand! He can even have Mazi Kanu executed as i’m sure he’s just itching to do. Either way, there needs to be some kind of movement on this Mazi Kanu issue!

Is Nnamdi Kanu being detained by Igbos in Igboland?
Does Igbo masses that you kill and kidnap have the means/power to release Nnamdi Kanu?
Why can't you go to Abuja and effect his release if it is that easy.
You have forced people to sit at home for almost one year, what have it achieved?

Just admit you re disappointed that despite all propaganda to persuade Igbos abandon MNK, the opposite seems to be the case. To you Kanu is a criminal, but to majority of Igbos, he is a hero respected more than any politician in Igboland. Soludo was fed the wrong info by people like you who lied to him that Kanu is not relevant

I love soludo but on this issue, he missed the target! let him mobilize Saturday to take some of the time lost on Mondays........children can go to school on Saturdays....meanwhile he should take his time to identify the stakeholders in the agitation and try to know their grievances b4 coming out with an effective policy on the whole issue!

Rivers people are from ipob madness while we in the east continues to suffer for it cause of sentiments.

Wike can afford to call in the Fulani army to murder Igbo in Obigbo because he has said he’s not Igbo! He doesn’t feel compelled to be answerable to Ndigbo on the wasting of innocents in Obigbo! Conversely however, he wants to curry the favour of his Fulani friends up north as well as other ‘one Nigerianists’ that see Ndigbo and IPOB as an ‘expendable irritant’ that needs to be dealt with! He knows one way of doing this is by ‘putting those pesky nyamurees’ in their place….Igbo haters love seeing that as it gives them a boner and is one thing you find them coming together in unanimity on!

Wike didn’t ‘get rid of any IPOB/ESN in Obigbo’ as you posit! It’s not like Obigbo was their headquarters or anything! What Wike did was get the murderous Fulani army of Nigeria to kill and ‘pacify’ innocent Obigbo indigenes and residents, as at the time there was an ongoing fight between the indigenes and the Fulani! Check the news reports at the time. Labelling it a ESN/IPOB thing was just another attempt at vilifying ESN (who at the time were dealing with the Fulani invaders in the south-east and parts of the south-south) and was an excuse for the Fulani army to come in and protect their kinsfolk in the state…..not forgetting the good optics Wike was eager to use to show his northern masters that he is ‘loyal’ to them and can be trusted with a leading role at the centre come 2023!

Shikena!
