Hello All,

Please I need to know I'm not the only one that has been waiting for a month now

ADR - March 1st
Remed - March 8th (passed)
No GU yet.
A friend said they are prioritising Ukraine residency applications first

I know God will do it, but it would be nice to know I'm not the only one in this predicament. Could it be something is wrong with my ADR?

You’re definitely not the only one. They also seem to be prioritizing old applications right now so yours is probably close.

Hey there!
I don't think you're the only one. I got my remed request 22nd March, did it on the 23rd, passed on the 30th.

It's been quiet ever since, I know a few other people who have had this same update, I'm hanging on till end of April.
Stay strong, we'll get there soon!!

Hello everyone, I am the main applicant,I know that it is not compulsory for my husband to take the English test,I also know that taking it will increase our point.
I want to know, will the point calculation be different if I am applying as a single lady,or is the point demand high since I am including a dependent. Thanks

Hello All
My passport expires in September and will have less than 6 months validity period next week, I am already on the process of renewal, and will be ready first week of june.
But I was asked to submit my passport within 21 days.
Any idea how I can go about it.

Hi
Please don't let the 21days expire without contacting IRCC and don't send the passport either. Cos they'll just return it without stamping it.
Webform takes about 2months to get a reply from IRCC. Your best bet is to call them.
PanicButton posted a hack earlier on how to call IRCC and it worked for Graciouswords. I think she added this info to page 1. So check page 1 for more info.
Cheers

It’s not the same for everyone. If your spouse has a BSC or higher, persuade him to take ielts and score reasonably and that would probably make your scores higher.

But if they have no higher education and no ielts, it will probably bring down your score. Best way to know for sure is to simulate your score to find the best scenario for you https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Also the alternative option is to apply as married but spouse unaccompanying, not to apply as a single lady. Just answer no when asked if your spouse will be coming along

In addition to doing what Mr. Pein said, also send a webform. You never know when they’ll increase their pace. If you know your visa office you can also try to find their email and mail the directly.

Pls double check before you pay, I'm not sure that London VFS "outside UK courier" covers Nigeria, I believe it's only for some select countries in Europe....unless there has been a change.

I think they can return your package to an address in the UK that's the "within UK one-way courier" (your friend or family can later send it to you). Also DHL are probably allowed to collect from London like they do for Cairo but not 100% sure....you may have to still pay transmission fee as well as one way courier...I have no personal experience with this though so I may be wrong....hopefully those who do will help out.

London vo claims nigerians are not in their jurisdiction and as such may not process passport stamping

I had to do another PCC and contacted Inspector Moshood as I couldn't travel to Lagos, sent the older PCC and the only thing that changed is the certificate.
Fingerprint and the other page were restamped.
Is this okay??

Hi, please how much did you pay for this? Did you have to send the hard copy or just a scan? Can I get his contact please? Thank you

Please don’t, don’t go and complicate matters even further. Now that they’re overwhelmed, it might take them a while to send back to you and you’ll have waited all this time for nothing. You’ve waited all this time, a few more weeks won’t kill ya lol. Besides now that Nigerians have stopped flooding them, their workspaces might just free up soon and you’ll get your passport back.

Would you ask IRCC to send you another PPR email if the deadline as passed when you receive it? Stay calm... what's another 2 month max of waiting compared to the uncertainty of waiting for PPR mail. Except you will be adding a family member soon.

I didn't send to London. I used Lagos VFS and the whole process took about 6 weeks.

How is your score this high. Do you have TEF or Canadian work experience? If not, check well that you’re not answering Yes to the question of Canadian work experience for both you and your spouse.
