You don't understand military hardwares. Warship is being protected like a seat of government. Putin made a great mistake by invaded Ukraine, he thought USA will directly involve and ture it to world war. NATO will continue to hide under Ukraine to demilitarised Russia. This war will takes many years and will only end when USA has achieve their desire.

Frankly speaking, I see warships as sitting ducks. They are easy targets. They are very large and very slow compared to tanks or fighter jets for instance.

A rain of laser guided missiles from afar should be able to take one down.

The Russian economy is crumbling fast and i forsee a massive migration of its citizens abroad escaping poverty.

As for its war in Ukraine, it has achieved very little so far.

I have always urged that Zelensky end the war by accepting a lot of Putins terms.

Unfortunately, as this "Special Military Operation" lingers far longer than expected, it has exposed several failings of the Russian army and weaknesses.

They USA toppled the Iraq government within 30 days. The Iraqi army was a million strong with many highups being veterans of the Iraq-Iran war. The Iraqi army was many times more powerful than the Ukrainian army Russia is facing today.

Yet, Russia has barely captured 10% of Ukrainian territory. I doubt it's up to 5% and the Ukrainians are even recapturing towns from the Russians.

Zelensky is now talking about defeating Russia. He should have prevented this war altogether by dropping his NATO dreams. He is not politically savvy but his new goal shows the frailty of the Russian army and belief they can now be defeated. .

Russia is bound to change tactics and i foresee a replay of what happened in Chechnya and Syria. There, Russia used extremely bombardment to shatter the will of the people and crush its target. Basically, killing a fly with a sledgehammer. That isn't war but genocide

This seems to be what it used in Mariupol as all buildings seem to have been hit by bombs, the entire city resembling a desolate wasteland. .

Ukraine did not sink the ship. Even the US said they cannot verify the Ukrainian claim. That ship probably ran into a floating mine or had some internal incidents that led to the explosion. Ukraine lied it sunk it from the word go, but how do you tow a ship that is already sunk?

Whatever, the ship was lost on its way being towed to port. So a loss is a loss. At least, it proves the Russians are more honest with their losses compared to Ukraine who claimed to have only lost 1000+ soldiers since the war began. And I guess they have not lost any plane, ship or machine.

Dude the EU and US are not helping Ukraine. This war will end badly. With Russia, China and India teaming up the odds are not in Ukraine's favour. If Russia, India and China keep all their trade among themselves they have a combined market of at least 2 billion people. So sanctions may not work. The only thing that will work is an all out confrontation of Russia by EU and US and they don't want to do that due to the risk of a nuclear war. Giving Ukrainians Javelins, anti-ship missiles and other equipment will not end this war. It will keep going until someone gives up and I don't see Putin giving up anytime soon. I only pity the Ukrainian people.

No, it is not Russia's largest warship.

Russia has 5 fleets, operating in key areas namely; Northern, Pacific, Baltic, Caspian and Black sea.

The Moskva at 11,300 tonnes was the largest ship in the black sea fleet.

The largest warship in Russian inventory is the Admiral Kuznetsov at 65,000 tonnes, followed by the Peter the Great at 28,000 tonnes, Admiral Nakhimov at 28,000 tonnes, the Varyag at 12,000 tonnes etc.

Note: the above doesn't include submarines.
