Jaqenhghar:

Another thread to not address the issues but to point fingers and blame women for everything. You forget that the Nigerian society is still a patriachial society where the men actually run things. So where are the men when the society is gking to shít.
You see I say this Niggerian men and black american women are very alike. Bkth live in societies where they are free to do anything they like and that freedom from consequences makes them some of the most toxic narcissistic people on earth. Same way you blame women for everything is yhe same way a black american woman will blame the black men for everything eventhings they are responsible for.

They never get tired of it.

They will create threads as if they have something reasonable to say, and predictably will lay the problem at the feet of women. Clearly he has no solution. All he came to do was post his message in bold for the club. "Where did we go wrong" indeed. As if he and his gender have no part to play in it.

Read any moral sounding thread by a male poster if you want to see what bigotry can do to the senses of an entire gender. Nigerian men are bleeped up.

OP you made some valid points. When I was in primary school and school there were incidents that involved some naughty boys and girls that had sex in the school toilet or worst still in empty classrooms after school hours. The truth is that moral values and parenting is so poor today as mothers and fathers too don't respect marriage anymore, they engage in extra marital affairs which these kids are aware of. The parents and the society is at fault. We watch home videos that are sex laden and these kids watch them too with their parents sitting comfortably in the living roomCartoons also contain some explicit sex moves. Husbands and wives having sex and they sometimes forget to lock the doors and some of the kids will barge in see the their parents in the act.

Children of nowadays are not worse off. Its the parents of nowadays that are completely hopeless looking for money and abdicating their responsibility especially the mothers.

I understand you sir. The reason why I focused on women towards the end is because there is this assumption that it is men that sexually expose children. The moment a child is discovered to be sexually adventurous, the public begins to ask that all the men in the family including the dad of the child be suspected. This has been the way it has been for ages, men Are always the evil ones in the eyes of the society. That is why the mum of the chrisland girl came out to play the same old rape card instead of addressing the moral delinquency issue of the children involved

The mum erred in her assertion, fine. But somewhere along the line. There is absolutely no way a little girl will know or have sexual experience without a male usually older men or boys who have raped her till she now turned pro and couldn't do without it up to the point where she left the girls floor to go have sex without shame even with other boys watching.

We have seen where a much older driver parked his owners car to have sex with a little school girl.

Men are 90 % percent of the time to blame.. ordinary dating, they want sexy, They have sex with a 6 days old baby! With their daughters, sisters, cousins, nieces, even grandpa to grand daughter!Alfas, pastors to little girls in worship center. Right from when those girls don't even know what is good or bad or morally wrong!

Men must learn somethings called self control, discipline, responsibility and the fear of God abeg...

Proverbs 22:6

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it

Training has been pocketed and replaced with making money to take care of children. ... Send them to Teachers in private schools...

Teachers who can't even spank or discipline such kids should train them for us? Parents need to take responsibility for the proper upbringing of the children

1. Are children of these days worse than the older generation?

I see a lot of myopic comments claiming the world has spoil finish. This is not true. Underage children has been engaging in stupid things from the days of Adam and Eve. Children that grew up in an environment where they learned about sex early always end up having sex early. When I was still in Primary school in the 1990s, I knew some of my classmates who where already sexually active and I attended one of the best schools in Jos.

The problem is the internet only makes it easier for children these days to get access to porn and things that corrupt them. Children will always do stupid things it is not a new thing or a big deal sef. They are children and need guidance.

Many of us judging these kids 2ould have used our phones to watch porn if we had smart phones back in our days too. Children are curious and porn would interest them.

2. Private Schools with wahala.
This Is another short sighted thought people are propagating. They think private schools are terrible in management.
They are talking of Dowen collage cultism and now chrisland issue. They say private schools are over rated. Well, they are wrong. If any child trusts you and tells you what happens in their schools, You will fear god.

Secondary school girls are doing runs in public schools and all their classmates know
The boys are doing yahoo.
They have cults too. Infact cultism from secondary school is very very old especially public schools.

3. Only girls are victims
people have been one sided judging matters always against the males. If not for the video leak, many Nigerians were already out calling for the heads of the boys. Women know they can always get public sympathy and they are abusing it. They are using it unduly to revenge and hurt people they dont like. They cry rape when they need to deal with a man. Is it not a possibility that it was the girl that initiated the truth or dare game? Do we even know if it was the girl that initiated sex with those boys? We dont have these answers yet people jumped into conclusion and many even insisted that the girl must have been drugged by the boys because they believe only boys can be bad. Girls are always good

4. Where did we go wrong?
Humans have always been bad, humans would always make bad life decisions. Children particularly would do things that are wrong because that is how children are. Exposure to social media is not helping them, giving them mobile phones is not helping, movies, music are all confusing them.

The worst influence on these girls are Ladies. You ladies always twerking online, always taking suggestive videos. The only thing you do on tick tok is dance and twerk. You sexualize every picture you take even pictures you take in church. The younger girls begin to develop the wrong mindset that sex is the most important thing most of you girls cannot take a picture without emphasizing your butt or boobs.

This write up is the best I have seen. The true problem. You deserve an award.

Most children, teenagers and adults are highly sexualised. This Chrisland type goes on in many places but it is not on video. Everyone of us should look inwards and see ourselves. The Chrisland people involved need serious help and rehabilitation. Abi?

When there was no internet there was access to vcd porn…. Some of my friends had it in their house, they would bring it over to another of our friend’s whose parents are not always around, we would all watch it… but I never practiced lol, I have this fear in my heart and maybe cause I have a strict mom but I watched porn at a younger age…..

Are you sure you didn't practice it?? I smell lies..

We cont cheat nature ,a woman who is in her early teen age is a volcano in active , her body is filled with energy of pleasure and ability to conceive and being fort life , at this age she bound to heal up faster and retain her shape or look better after delivery, she's likely to live longer when childbirth is done with in her early twenties , but some other religion and education system has changed our system so women marry late , even in the early European system a girl who sees her flower is a woman and her emotions shouldn't be denied , urge for sex and wish to be lived by a handsome man who would defend and love her is a fantasy , rich or poor .
This child in this generation has been exposed to sexual vices and she being a child know no better that to enjoy it and repeat her acts , if she was educated or close to her mother , she would have told her mum what had happened and she would have been cautioned and educated on the effects and problems with being involved in unprotected sex and more ,
Nigerian men take advantage of unguarded and unguided teenage girls and my question is "WHETE AND WHO DISVIRGINED HER AND WHO THOUGHT HER "
Re: Christland Sex Scandal: Where Did We Go Wrong? What No One Is Talking About by nestorpaschal: 6:25am On Apr 22, 2022
Every human being at every age, that is why a breastfeeding child can bite the mother's nipples while being breastfed and look directly on the mother's face to see her reaction; the mother's reaction can make the child do such again or abhore such actions.
Now, having the tendency to do the negative does not in any way make the negative good; that is where discipline comes in, that is where morality comes to play, that is where parental efforts come in.
At early age, we all knew about sex, but our environments (parents) made us Kno that it is something we should steer away from until a certain age.
So I still say, a lot has been lost in this younger generation when it comes to decency and discipline. We now celebrate the wrong and castigate the right, it was not the statusqo

1). For me, most music videos are a step away to pornography. Yet these videos are moral standards and role models to our young ones

2). Is sex education an advantage or a vice? Is it helping our children to be curious about their sexuality in lieu of oblivion?

3). You as a parent, what's is ur sexual behavior like? How to u dress, discuss sex or sexual content.

@Hardmirror the simple truth is this. Stop giving out smartphones to kids until they’re done with WAEC. Have a family PC/desktop with restricted internet in an open space where they can get homework’s done

Have some kinda phone they can use to communicate their whereabouts to you.
Restrict TV, internet etc
You’re not fully in control of what your kid will eventually do growing up but good & strict parenting does help

They should go to same gender schools if you ask me
