Thank you!! Plus how many hours did you wait to get your study permit at Montreal airport? I’m asking for someone that has a 3hours layover at Toronto, will that be enough because of immigration?
May Canada Favour you !!!!

My Port of entry was Calgary not Montreal. 3hrs is enough time . Don’t worry about bags when you get to Montreal . Do your declaration and move straight to the Boarder office .

You get enrollment letter when you have registered your course . You can find it in your portal or mail your school for it after course registration

How can I confirm/verify my admission. I got undergrad admission to University of Manitoba. An agent did the application and admission process for me.
And I’m about to commit huge sums of money so I’d like to confirm the legitimacy of the admission before going forward.

I guess it’s one of these agent that promise visa in 3/4 months cuz na them plenty now I almost fall for one too but I am yet to confirm how real or true he is…

Please everyone I need your help
I graduated last year sept with HND in Accounting, cgpa of 3.33 and till date I have less than 8 month working experience as an accountant.

What cheap school can I apply for post graduate diploma or course?
Is it possible for me to go with September intake?

Do anyone have any open admission school that I can apply to so that I can start my application.

PG. Cert in Accounting and Colleges offering it
https://www.nairaland.com/6567181/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/247#103188415

Do your research on each school to know the tuition amount of the program for international students so as to know if it's cheap or not.

Reach out to the international and Admission office of each school via mail to know if their admission is still open for FALL 2022 or not

Good luck

They did not promise visa.
It’s admission they promised and they’ve done it,
I started growing suspicious because of the way they are plenty, they are hawking the admission and visa application like gala and many of the adverts look so unprofessional.

MybankStatement (MBS) is a good option. It saves you the hassle of compressing. Go to your bank for that

1)Your student ID number should be on the letter. Use it to set up the UMnetID(highlighted on the photo added). If it goes through, then you know you have your student portal as an admitted student where you eventually register for courses.

2) If its University 1(Undergraduate) program, it is usually an unconditional offer, which means tuition deposit is not demanded. You can pay a tuition deposit to strengthen your proof of funds.

With Uni of Manitoba, agents cant do much after the admission is given, they have to accept the offer on your behalf to download the Letter of Admission the agent has given to you.

You can access a lot of info online. Use this link to read up about Next steps.
https://umanitoba.ca/admissions/undergraduate/next-steps

All the best.

Send emails to different units of the school i.e admissions, international, support etc to confirm the genuineness of the admission. Also, if the the school had offered you admission, you would know because they would bombard your email with admission and international support emails.

If you didn't receive a mail, and the agent didn't use your email in the application; I think you should suspect something sinister.

Another crucial steps is to follow the school different units on Twitter, and send them DMs and public posts about your admission, ask them questions.

Also, browse the school website and learn about their admission processes, tuition deposit and refund policy. Pretend you know nothing: if the agent advises anything different from the information online, that will be a red flag

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Please how long does it take to for an Upfront Medical Examination to be updated.

My previous upfront medical exams expired in February and i repeated it on the 25th of April and submitted via email same day and also submitted via webform the next day.

Although i got confirmation of submission by IRCC on Thursday 28 April.

So how long before it would reflect on my portal?

TOPAI7:
Good day, Mr Anon123.

Thanks for the professional advice that you continuously give to applicant free of charge, May God bless you richly.

I am a graduate of Chemistry, Second class lower.
My career path in the last ten years has been more of Site supervision and management.

From the Nairaland thread, I realized that the preferred program to go for is a two years PGD.

I have checked more than 50 colleges and still counting to search for colleges that have PGD in chemistry related courses, the best fit so far are the 2 colleges stated below:

(1) Kwantlen Polytechnic University (Kwantlen University College)
Admission requirement :
The Technical Management and Services (TMAS) program is designed for emerging technical professionals who have competed a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical program such as applied sciences or information technology
Url: https://calendar.kpu.ca/programs-az/business/technical-management-services/

(2) Lambton college
Admission Requirements
A university degree in Science, Pharmacy or Engineering with appropriate preparation in Maths and Chemistry
Url: https://www.lambtoncollege.ca/custom/LambtonApps/Programs/International.aspx?id=2147510964&location=Toronto

Please should i expand my search to include business or management program based on my Site supervision and management role,
Or which other PGD program should I include in my search?

Thanks for your support and prompt response.

Hi,

Due to your Site supervision and management 10 years work experience, there is no academic nor career progression going for a Chemistry related program. A Visa Officer will/might likely see this as a red flag in your Visa Application. A Visa Officer will expect you to go for a Program related to your work experience.

It's better for you to go for a PG.CERT program related to your Site Supervision and Management work experience, that shows a career progression

PG. Cert in
- Construction Management
- Project Management
- Construction Project Management
are good options for you

Since you will be going for a Program not related to your degree, but related to your work experience, go through the contents in the link below

Dear Fam,

I'm very new here and it's been difficult finding a university that offers PGD IN MARKETING or associated courses.
PLEASE I need urgent assistance on university selection and process flow of application.

Thanks

I don't think Marketing is offered at PGD level in Canadian Universities. It's either Masters in the Universities or PG.Cert (Post Graduate Certificate) at colleges

Yes, it is true. There are many options of becoming a Permanent Resident (PR) of Canada after study.

You must study a course that qualifies for Post Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). If you study for 8 months or 1 year, you'll get a 1 year PGWP; 2 year course would get you a 2 - 3 years of PGWP. This is after completion of your course.

During this PGWP period, you can explore many options of becoming a PR.

With your ND, you can enroll for BSc or Adv. Diploma and claim credits for completed courses. You can as well go for a Diploma if you wish.

While scholarships are not guaranteed, full scholarships is even rarer for Undergraduate studies in Canada.
With up to 4 or 5 A1s in your WAEC, you can get some form of scholarships in some universities ( Uni of Manitoba) for example. It is not guaranteed please note my words.
