I believe your passport vignette will carry a certain date, I also believe you are expected to enroll once you arrive

If you choose to defer your admission to September, the old visa then becomes invalid, pending on the school's policy they may need to reissue a new CAS and you may need to apply for a new visa.

Chances of the school deferring your admission is up to the school,nobody will tell you what to expect,you have to speak with your admission team and they will advise.

Just so you know, after enrollment, the school will send the data of all the students that have enrolled for that academic session to the home office.
So please if you want to defer your admission let your school know,make them no bounce you for border.

If it is May resumption,time is not on your side.

Good morning, please I would like to know if Nigerians get any form of scholarship from Aston University, I applied for a scholarship and awaiting their response. I also have an offer from University of Derby and on the verge of paying the deposit, if I go ahead to pay the deposit and then Aston gives me the scholarship I don’t know how feasible it is, will I be able to seek refund from Derby? Hi guys my wife got an unconditional offer from Stratclyde uni in Glasgow and northumbria uni in Newcastle we chose northumbria because of its location, standard of living, job opportunities etc.... just a quick question the next steps should be paying up deposite and probably booking for TB test right?... another important question is this can the proof of funds be in my account or it has to be in hers. I am also joining her as dependent.

Well from the calculations I made the 20hours won’t be enough to pay the balance between September and January.
800pounds per month
Rent is roughly 250-350 per month depending on area and other factors. Let’s say I manage to save 450 every month that’s 2250 by January ending

The only official holiday is the Christmas 2weeks official holiday, if I work let’s say 50hrs during Xmas holiday that’s 10*50*2weeks = 1000
2250+1000= 3250

Not even close and those are rough calculations there will be miscellaneous and unexpected bills along the line.

Two options you have:
1. Go to your school. They would usually have your waec certificate if you have not collected it. Or they can give you your registration number. With that, you can get a scratch card and check your result online.

2. Go to waec office at Yaba (if you’re in Lagos) and sort it out.

Option 1 may be your best bet if you’re still within proximity to your school.

I want to do medicals. I tried checking iom website and it says the nearest available date is 23rd of june 2022.

For derby after admission deposit, their installment plan is 50% of the tuition balance by november and the remaining 50% balance by january

send the telex to your school for them to confirm the payment

Please help with respect to TB test booking on ion. I cancelled an appointment and I've been trying to reschedule but it's telling me I have an active appointment despite sending a mail that the initial appointment has been cancelled.

In my facts finding about the school I have been admitted, which I have unfortunately paid the acceptance fee. The students, at least in my department are not enjoying the course. I have chatted few of the current and ex students of the department, none gave a good response.

Let us all be careful in the schools and the course of study. Let us engage students before finalising, it is not eldorado. Some of the schools are interested in the fees they will get from the students.

There are grades of sch, so typically when u make ur choice in regards to tuition fee, u shud also av plan A, B, C, D.
First thing get there.
Secondly fit in.
Thirdly u know what brought u to d country.
Fourthly start executing ur ambition.
If u want to consider some of the schools, u wud end up not traveling. Yes it is true no where is easy but remember what didn't work for A might work for B

His tuition fees balance is 5700pounds

He is expected to pay half by November and the rest by January

Please the guy doesn’t have dependent and he’s on the verge of giving up the whole process cause he feels like 20hours won’t cut it for him, knowing fully well he still have some other bills to pay like accommodation, feeding and transport.
