Yahweh failed? Bwahahahah

Smh! A Person who is trying to save another person in trouble does not fail where his attempts to save is frustrated by the very same idiot who requires rescue.

The Saviour does not suffer any loss or harm, it is the idiot who shall continue in his suffering until he dies.

But The Saviour is fine and unaffected.

Ambiguous Question, however, my Answer is God has Already Planned on Changing this world by destroying it and making a new one with only good doing people in it.
You are funny,I asked a simple question which requires a simple answer
Can God fix Nigeria, your answer should be either
YES
NO
I DO NOT KNOW

I don't know what to deduce from the response you give,do you mind picking one of the options above

What the fellow is saying is that it is embarrassing to acknowledge that your God failed at something,it's just like saying a novice beat Magnus Carlsen in chess,it can only happened if Magnus didn't want to win the game because there is no question to his ability, the guy beats champions in the game of chase while blindfolded
Likewise if God is all-knowing and all powerful he can't fail because he would know if a plan would work or not and if he wants to achieve something(in this case) saving humans he should be able do that very easily with human cooperation or not,if not then that raises two questions.
Can he do everything ?
How willing is he to save humans ?

The savior is not an all knowing.
If he was an all knowing he won’t have wasted his time on a futile endeavor.
An all knowing can’t be frustrated.

Well if you must know if they don't fix anything like you said your ministry would be tampered with. If the government doesn't make good policies roads won't be fixed so how would you travel to remote places to preach,if the government isn't working people would face more temptations to commit crime, how does that help your ministry,if the government isn't working waterways would be a mess and floods would occur more often how do you preach to a homeless person. Whether you like it or not the government of the day and the policies they make affect your life and ministry,a better government would make your ministry smoother and easier it doesn't take a genius to realize that
Humans are social beings so we don't need any government to tell us all what you're saying, all what we need is come together and reason as a community on how to cohabit as intelligent beings. Whatever will lead to forcing people to abide by rules that will benefit them is EVIL. We are not animals so if we reason as a family we will live as a family but once you're using weapons to intimidate others or compelling them to abide by certain rules then it will always lead to more and more and more troubles! smiley

The scripture you quoted says
Daniel 2 vs 44
An in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever
Please show me how that passage refers to all human government and how it shows that human governments are anti-God

Try to read the whole chapter of Daniel 2 and meditate on the highlighted.
God's word is talking about different forms of government mankind has been trying for centuries before they now concluded on DEMOCRACY which is the government of the people by the people and for the people. This system is what Daniel emphasized on when he said this government will not be passed unto other people (unlike democracy where you must CHANGE the one ruling whether he's performing well or not)
So God's word condemns all human government that's why God is coming to DESTROY them all! Daniel 2:44

Meanwhile
Romans 13 vs 1-2
Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves
Romans 13 vs 6
For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing
Of course we must be submissive to them since they're taking the pain to manage the troubles their hopeless policies caused.
Imagine if everyone is to be paid the same wage (as God's Kingdom promised) do you think they will need security operatives to keep people in check or force them to obey their rules? smiley

So why did Jesus die?

Good question.

He died so that mankind can be redeemed from the power of darkness. And he already did that. But only those who believe in him will benefit from it.

Satan has been defeated but he has not be dethroned. He is still the god of this world. But those in Christ are not of this world. We are not under his dominion.

Hermes119:
Now this is a quick one

Christians and Muslims are always praying to God to fix Nigeria and of course solve their needs and it amazes me that nothing has happened yet,Nigeria simply keeps getting worse while God is supposedly all powerful.
Now I've got a perfect idea of how God can fix over half of Nigeria's problems and at the same time convert maybe all of the nations population and beyond to his preferred religion (Christianity or Islam) and at the same time solve over half of believers needs, now check this out

What God has to do is very simple, inflict anybody that is involved in embezzling of funds(I mean those who are doing it at that point not retrospectively) with a particular gruesome illness that is intractable to any treatment and then speak through a respected prophet informing the whole nation that he is responsible for the situation and why,and if the offender publicly confesses, repents, and returns the stolen funds the illness would disappear.

If this happens of course numerous people would fall victim and if the pattern of the illness is consistent some people would turn to God and be healed and it would become obvious by the day that it's the work of God and more people would turn to God and just like that nearly everyone who was inflicted would turn to God and be healed. Now this would prevent anybody from looting because they know what would happen next, you can imagine what change this would bring to the country, corrupt leaders would give way cos they know they can't steal when they get into office so committed people would take over the positions,at the same time God must have answered half of believers prayers because if leaders are doing their job the people would have less problems,at the same time God would prove his existence to non believers and people of other faiths this would definitely lead to a mass conversion.
So by merely exercising a little power he would change the destiny of this country and maybe the world. With a single act like this, just a very small action you can imagine the change it would bring to our lives and into the world, now imagine if God was doing more of this the entire world would become believers ,people would sit up,the world would become a better place.

But guess what, pray from now till eternity this would never happen, you know why, because the God you pray to doesn't exist. I mean think about it how is it that your God has so much power, infact he overflows with power, his powers are unquantifiable and yet the world is the way it is, what is the point of having so much power and you can't do very little things that would change the world forever.

I know Believers would give excuses but note that my suggestions doesn't affect free will(your favourite excuse), in the bible God did something similar, the Israelites and Pharoah, remember. You know that such won't happen so of course you are just going to keep giving excuses but ask yourself if you had the power won't you effect the solution I just mentioned and would whatever excuse you give for your God detract you from doing so.

no!

Except in a situation that requires the spirit to intervene. Such situations are not common in this present era because humans are knowledgeable enough to profound solutions to a lot of problems compared to the primitive times when the bible was documented.

So, we read in the bible that God intervened and heal someone infected with leprosy. That isn't necessary anymore today because, through advancements of medical science diseases like leprosy were largely eradicated in the human population.

The Bible is a big book of little books so if you read it like a novel you will only know the stories but you can never get the import of it's messages.

So you must carefully read, diligently study, thoroughly meditate and fervently pray for wisdom to gain insight on the scriptures. Proverbs 2:1-5

The only race God had direct dealings with is the Israelites, right from the time He called them out of Egypt they had no human king.
WHY? Because human Kings will always fall into the hands of the overall ruler of the earth (Satan the devil) who misled Adam and Eve to rebel against their Creator! John 14:30; 2Corinthians 4:4; 1John 5:19

But for God's people to have a taste of what other nations were experiencing in the hands of human rulers He told Samuel to allow them! 1Samuel 8:4-8
Samuel even told them all they are going to face in the hands of human rulers adding that during that time they will cry unto God for help but He will not listen to their cry! 1Samuel 8:11-18
Jesus is the CHOSEN King that's why he refused to work with Satan's system {John 6:15} because God's Kingdom has nothing to do with DEMOCRACY where it's all about what the people wants, according to Jesus the majority will always be on Satan's side! Matthew 7:13-14

We have seen handicaps doing great things, greater than what a lot of wholesome people can do. So, being deficient has nothing to do with the physical state of the body, it is a problem of the mind.

You know, it's good that one is seeing himself or herself being whole in the body and healthy. But peradventure if anyone is handicapped by any circumstances, so long he is alive he has the responsibility to keep himself happy and be functional to the society doing things that will put value to himself. By so doing, his current situation wount be a problem that require a miracle.

All I'm saying is, people like us that believe, have seen what you are yet to see, that's the difference.

You choose not read the book so you wouldn't possibly know it content, it's normal.
But by the time you hear me speak about the book and you ask, where is the proof of what i have just said? Then i will refer you to the book i read.

Are there valid arguments presented by these religious books?
Let them be published, they will be widely accepted so long the arguments are genuine.

One thing i know about the human mind, humans are always inquisitive towards knowing what is the truth especially in this modern generation where there is wisdom and understanding.
You present a sound argument, they listen to you and see the correlation of what you are saying with other truth they already know. That already is a proof that what you are telling them is the truth.

But if another person bring his argument and it is not sound enough, then they will settle for your own that is sound and correlated to reality and reject the other person

This explains why more people practice one religion while few people practice the other.
More people will practice a religion because more truth is found in it tenets
And less people will practice a religion because it tenets are far from reality

Defeated means he has legally been stripped of his dominion over mankind. So only those who accept and believe makes it vital in their lives.

Most importantly, his own people, Israel which he originally chose for his inheritance are yet to embrace this salvation. But they will do so in the future.

So, as long as this earth still remains, Satan still has the permission to continue to reign over the earth. But those who believe in Christ have the authority to resist him and bind him.

He will be dethroned when Jesus comes back to deliver the children of Israel from the anti Christ who will be revealed in the future. And Satan will be thrown into the bottomless pit for one thousand years while Jesus will establish his kingdom on earth for that same period.

So I take it that you don't mind having a handicapped child then ?

no,
I'm not the position to school you on your belief, I'm not even trying to convince you to believe in spirits grin

All I'm saying is, people like us that believe, have seen what you are yet to see, that's the difference.

It's like I choose to read a book and know it content.
You choose not read the book so you wouldn't possibly know it content, it's normal.
But by the time you hear me speak about the book and you ask, where is the proof of what i have just said? Then i will refer you to the book i read.
If after that you still choose not to read the book, that means you will still not possibly know that there is a proof until you have dedicate time to read it.
So, pending on anytime you choose to read your position about the book should remain neutral

Okay fine, still doesn't change my perspective

Why is it our duty and not God's,who created Nigeria ?
Who do you think is in a better position to fix Nigeria,a few good willed Nigerians who are powerless against the powers that be and are in the multitude of numerous corrupt, illiterate and hapless citizens or God who is superior to all

And this is so because your God allowed it to be,how does this make sense to you,so God gave the dominion to one man and he fluffed it and God decides that all generation to come billions of people would suffer for one man's disobedience so he gives the devil control over the world, great !!!

So you think Nigerians haven't prayed enough to attract God's intervention ? How much did the man by the pool of Bethsaida pray before Jesus healed him ?

It took only one man,Elijah and God witheld rain in an entire nation for a couple of years,it are you living in disobedience if not so why hasn't God answered you or must every single Nigerian accept God before God changes the nation

So if the leaders of the church are corrupt then God won't intervene despite the prayers of other faithful brethren

Oga I put it to you that nothing supernatural would happen,if Nigeria is to be fixed it would be through a normal process there wouldn't be any noticeable event that would even be remotely linked to your God

It is our duty because the authority to rule the earth has been transferred to mankind. It will be unfair for instance to employ a manager to manage your company and you will be interfering with his job. Allow him do his job. If you are not satisfied, you can fire him and employ another manager.

God did not allow Satan. It was Adam who gave Satan the advantage over him. But our Lord Jesus has come to redeem mankind out of his power or dominion.

Yes, it's true that God heard the prayers of one man, Elijah and he did as he commanded. There was also a time that prayers could not save Israel. God allowed them to go into captivity for 70 years in Babylon because of their sins.

There will be a supernatural intervention. Some of us are already praying night and day. And the Lord will hear.
