I have lived in the North, and in all my years of being in the North , I never abused, insulted or attacked their religion. Even when preaching the gospel, I always kept it to 'Jesus saves'...I did not start going into how the Islamic religion was wrong etc etc. I even occasionally got angry with Muslims, but i never brought religion into it(and neither did they even). I even went as far as reading about islam to get what their religion was all about.

When you are a minority in an area there are many sacrifices one has to make to maintain peace and harmony. It sucks. It is wrong. But that's how life is sadly.

From the safety of mile 12 market in civilised Lagos, you can sit with your skimpy clothes and post nice things about them. But I can tell you authoritatively that if you as little as dress that way in the far north then your views will completely be changed. A couple of years ago, an Igbo lady in Wuse market, Abuja was stripped naked and almost lynched for "dressing indecently". It happened on a Sunday when there were not many Christian traders in the market to rescue her. They are not nice, they are just good at bring peaceful when they are in the minority.

I think this is really what Islam stands for and is all about. Demanding the release of a murderer even calling them 'our brothers', is the height of all insanity. Now, Isn't that enough reason why no one in his or her right senses should associate with such bigoted group of blood thirsty religionists. No religion that comes from God create room for murderers to thrive. Even in the old testament only their judiciary and those drafted into their Army, are capable of going to war, executing judgement and all of that. No prophet in the old testament was ever recorded killing anyone with the sword or stone except Elijah which was purely a national contest, not even Moses after he was called. Joshua was the head of Moses army and they were the ones who went to war, but this murderers with little knowledge of old testament will tell you God approved of stoning, but ask them by whose hand were such judgement executed, civilians or legal representatives?
