Beautifulchy:With your BEng degree, you could get admitted for PGD/PGC/PostBaccDip. in Engineering, System Automation or Computer and IT related courses. These lines of job are lucrative and in-demand in Canada. This means you'll quickly get jobs: hence, your route to Permanent Residence will be smooth if you wish to get PR. |

I graduated with a 3rd class.infact a very low CGPA of about 2.0. my question is what school can I apply to for PGD (Geology). And I'd be grateful if I can know the province where my course is highly demanded. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by ShowYoung: 8:01am On May 17, 2022 |
Beautifulchy:This is also good. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by kennyjoy(m): 8:04am On May 17, 2022 |
Oluoxide2:That is merely a guess. No one knows because of the way IRCC operates. I may say that 80 percent of the approvals a few months ago did not write IELTS. It's just been different this time, at least in my opinion. |

geekly44:If you have a liquidated investment, it is a proof of funds provided you can explain that you opted for the investment from your past savings because of inflation and that you will like to earn on your savings since the money has been lying fallow in your account without an interest. |

NaturalKinzzy:Why Geology explicitly? What about Geospatial Data Analytics among other related courses? Don't limit yourself. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Nobody: 8:24am On May 17, 2022 |
ShowYoung:Geology because that's what I studied (undergraduate). Never heard about "Geospatial Data Analytics". Is the course highly in demand in Canada?? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by ShowYoung: 8:27am On May 17, 2022 |
NaturalKinzzy:This is a Data Analytics course but channeled towards Geology, Surveying, Meteorology, Soil Science etc This means you can also work as a Data Analyst (General). Data Analytics is an in-demand profession in Canada |
