Nothing is contradictory. It all depends on the context. Jesus said that he existed before Abraham. The Bible said a virgin gave birth to him. He didn't come from Mary's eggs or Joseph sperm. Jesus appeared on the earth with human body so he had human characters like eating and drinking. That didn't stop him from being God. The Bible recorded many places where Jesus forgave sins. It is only God that forgives sin.


Jesus said "I and father are one".


The Bible acknowledges that Jesus is God. So the issue of 'if this and if that'', won't work here.
