Good day everyone,

I just stumbled on this refusal from part 4 which I don't think anyone opined on & would like your guidance to enable me better prepare the cover letter.

My circumstances are pretty similar i.e. good earnings, but:

1. Large deposits from loan given to me 2 months ago (I couldn't change Forex due to low parallel rates at the time) to be be paid back in September (chat messages serves as proof. Additionally, proof of re-payment lodged in USD Dom account to be paid on agreed date). The money has since been used up but it involved payment for services to the party that loaned the money. To make it clearer, party A loaned me money, and upon receiving this, I used party A's services and had to pay them for it. Long group chats exist for this & can be used for source and use of funds if necessary.

2. Large deposits from proceed of Forex sale. I earn in USD and every half year or so, make large withdrawal in cash and slowly pay into personal account for use when needed. This year, in addition to salary, made some money from DSA from 4/5 work trips. I didn't count this as extra income given they are paid in cash and on arrival but I have letters to this effect.

I just decided on visa application recently but given my accounts (esp personal account where I operate my day-to-day expenses from) are chaotic, what do you advise?

If helpful, about my profile:
- 9 to 5 job with north of NGN1m (paid in $) monthly salary
- fairly good travel history i.e. UK years ago, US, UAE, Turkey, Lebanon for holidays and East/South African countries
- Applying for tourist visa
- My salary account/Dom account is very clean and has very good balance.

Do visitors from overseas still do self isolate for 10 days on arrival to the uk?

On my own application, i stated i will arrive the uk on 21/06/2022 and leave on 30/06/2022.

So ECO can refuse you visa based on the number of days you state on your application.
"Nawa o"

I have come to conclude that there is no perfect visa application.

It's all on GOD.

I hope to share my testimony soon on here

Looks like the user applied during the UK lockdown.

To my knowledge, this is no longer the case as the UK has removed most of their public health advisory related to the COVID-19 pandemic including lockdowns for a while now.

@Giselle, @Amelia, @All active users and veterans, please help with reviewing my question.

When a visitor visa gets denied and the refusal focused on one bank statement instead of two bank statement that was submitted and the ECO complained about insufficient funds due to reviewing only just one bank statement, can that be taken as case working Error and does that fit in for Admistrative review?

You are spot on, no more restrictions in regards to arrivals into the UK (Re: Covid). You don’t need to do anything, just book your flights and head in.

If yes what is the minimum to deposit per month and for how many months before we apply

Sorry I am unable to offer advice on a public forum on such kind of situation as this is deceptive

A marriage certificate is not the only way to prove a marriage. Even with a certificate of 50 years you must prove that the relationship is genuine and ongoing.
Eg pictures, whatsapp, call logs, travel details together, joint bills, wedding pictures, written attestation from others to the existence of marriage to name a few

There is nothing deceptive in this . It’s just finding an easier way

Good
You have good travel hx to the UK, US .. as long as you didnt violate your last visa terms.. this counts in your favour.
Also good salary earning power. demonstrates good financial tie.
Con:- Tidy up your personal bank account.. too many stories. You will be asked on the form how much u spend monthly, and all that. If it’s an eco that wants to gloss over this they’ll let you be… others tht want to deny will stand on this and start speaking about multiple credits, multiple withdrawals etc.. save yourself the headache
I have personally watched some of my family members do this.. some needed to tidy accounts for upto 6 months to 1 year just to avoid too much explaining and confusion and it paid of. You dnt want the ECO confused. Their confusion often leads to denial

What I mean- you do not work with your uncle neither do you work with the logistics company. You want them to act as an employer to create a profile of an employee and then credit you monthly which in real fact is not true.
This is deception. No judgement but it is what it is.
I cnt speak on such sorry on a public forum.
As for your marriage, gather your evidence. Everything that shows it is a genuine and ongoing relationship should work sir

you said the salary is already clean. Keep it clean.
Then decide how much you want to be your monthly expenses. Eg u decide on 50k to 100k..
This will be your expenses for the next 4 months-6 months
You can rely on your spouse or family for the time being just to keep the personal account devoid of stories
Then have a 3rd account where u can do ur loan, multiple credits, multiple unexplain debits from, if you are getting money from anyone u use tht one..in 4 to 6 months u should have two good bank statements tht do not require too much explanation.
This is one of the options I canvass for. not compulsory

Good people pls help make it clearer ..
