I have not seen Luka play with a talent like Jerry Stackhouse or Jason Terry. Or are you going to say that any of his teammates so far are as good as any of those guys.
Dude just got him 3rd first team all-nba nod in 4years at the stacked guard position.

That one no concern me. Jerry Stackhouse was a 14-3-2 guy. Don't come here and cap like he was some star when he arrived Dallas.

Luka literally has to win a chip or force a Game 7 in the finals to have done more for the Mavs than Dirk in 10 years.

All NBA is not a team achievement

Congrats to the GOAT LeBron James for making his 18th all-NBA selection. That's no small feat at 37 years. He definitely would have made 1st or 2nd team if he didn't have a shitty team. We go again next year.

I don't rate basketball players like you guys. I rate a guy based on his individual performances. I will never look at Bird, Kobe, Duncan and Magic to name a few and use them as the baseline for players. These guys walked into a situation, some with multiple top 50 guys of all time on their team already and people like you use them as a baseline to judge players.
I rate a players performance based on what he has to work with in terms of teammates,and will continue to do so.

Stackhouse was not the 2nd coming of Pippen when he played with Dirk. During his 5 seasons with Dirk he averaged 12.2 PPG/ 2.6 RPG, so I am not understanding this narrative you are trying to sell today. Worsestill, his numbers progressive declined after he joined Dirk. When he joined Dirk he averaged 14.9 in his first season, 13 PPG in his 2nd season, 12.0 PPG in his 3rd, 10 PPG in his 4th and in his final season, aged 34, he averaged 4.2PPG. Is this what we are supposed to even debate?

J. Brunson was drafted the same year and since he became a starter for the Mavs he is averaging 16.3 PPG, 2 points more than Stackhouse averaged in his first season with Dirk. S. Dinwiddie is averaging 15.8 PPG with Doncic, both players are still pretty young compared to when Stackhouse joined Dirk.

What you should have said is that Luka has had more individual success and is on a higher trajectory but Dirk has an MVP which trumps everything Luka has done so far

Instead of just agreeing he phrased his words poorly due to exuberance and zealousness. He found himself in a hole and kept digging. Listing individual accomplishments as proof he had done more for the Mavs grin
