I was caught bypassing and my meter disconnected

Las las after much office visiting and begging I paid 20k as penalty

I only by pass my meter when I want to use heavy appliances

If you want to by pass your meter make sure you recharge your meter every month with 2k then go on and enjoy 5k light

I was given an estimated 13k plus bill and I paid 5k.
But returning from work this evening, they have disconnected me saying, I under paid them? I don't know what to do.
I wish I had a pre-paid meter, dem for hear am.

Ordinarily I use jus 3k per month on mine. So 3k by 8 months that's 24k, imagine say I kon bypass now dem go bill me for that same 8months close to or over 200k. Na dem go chop the guy now. Wisdom is profitable. The saying goes thus "everyday for the thief, one day for the.....?".

The number at the back was written with pen, call and negotiate with them cos they're the people that disconnected you.

call the number at they drop.
they will ask to pay for LOR. lost of revenue.
which is officially pay but u can still talk them into settling it unofficial.
mind u LOR may be 150k so u should know how to negotiate with them.

Go to nearest police station, report yourself and choose your own cell.

Immediately they called and told me, first thing I did was recharge online on the meter right away, hoping I would have a chance, but I got home now I saw they’ve opened the meter, and I’m sure our people they would have taken enough pictures of the tampered meter, some of them can even pix mix I’m for evidence.

Well they dropped a letter for me, on the letter my last recharge was written at the back stating about 8months ago, and a phone at the back.

I don’t know what to do first, any I’ve not make any move yet, but I’ve corrected the bypass meter. suggestions how best to handle it.

I just move into a new apartment and I discovered the prepared meter for pumping water is separate and I was expecting to be informed how we contribute money to recharge the meter 2 weeks pass nobody informed me so i have to ask one of the tenant she told me that nobody is paying for the prepared meter that is direct to NEPA I quickly understand it has been bypassed. Now if PHED discovered this shebi na everybody go pay for the crime committed or should I report to PHED ?

Since you have 100k to spend, call the number in the evening , the rest is story.

Call the number on the back. There is room for negotiations. Get ready with the excuse you can give. If you know any PHCN staff, start your begging from there. See how the person comes into the matter.

Na new meter. E come with 5k worth of units. No light during the day, I bypass at night.

The units dey dey look me as I dey look am.

Of course if I run out of unit I go recharge but how I wan take run out when e be say na night I dey see light.

Watch what you say when you get to their office because they will record your conversation and use it as an evidence against you.

You should have been recharging the meter still...
Or better still go for hacking, no evidence will be seen. Only be recharging once in while...
Those bypassing are dangerous cause it is traceable...

Call the number follow am talk one on one ...... No follow am argue since na u fuxk up . If you are lucky the officer would help mercy and if not pay the price

If you multiplied the 8months you used it for free by 5/6k average that should be around 60 to 70k max. Now you are going to be paying twice on penalties with the embarrassment and you have to be begging after paying twice. Don't you lots have self respect?

A lot of Nigerians just don't have commonsense.

It's not about common sense.
It's a case of "this is my own national cake since abuja own far"

Are you not the guy they caught in PH that bypassed meter, and you've been charged N60k?
