Stop coming online to rant nansense

How do you prove to us that it’s actually #500 and not #200

Do you know you're very correct?

There's absolutely nothing you'll buy in any store in developed country, even bread that you'll not obtain receipt for

Which Lagos? Abi Lagos dey 2?

That mango in the picture is called German mango and is always expensive, I use to buy it 1000 at gate, cele and Ijesha bustop. Any body disputing this should bring it down to these places and people will rush it. For me that is my best mango.

I hate people that always argue blindly

wetin do the plate? Na gold plate who get Benz suppose dey use? undecided
I referenced the plate not because I was under the impression that Benz owners use gold plate but I was trying to say that if the OP was living a form of privileged life that warranted such behavior from traders, he wouldn’t be using a plate like that or complaining about spending 500 for mango, and the fact that you couldn’t make that connection shows that you don’t have taste

I still don't understand how the South has more fertile land and the north is mostly desert but it's the north that produce more foods for the nation. how?

May God help us.

Simple answer: Agricultural grants, subsidised cost of fertilizers.

80% of the Agricultural products coming from the North are grown with fertilizers provided by the government at hugely subsidised rates. That way, every ordinary farmer in the North has easy access to fertilizers as well as grant monies for start up capital.

Every other day you see news stories of government backed Agricultural initiatives, CBN sponsored incentives to ease farming and you don't wonder where these policies and monies mostly go to? I can confidently tell you that if the South was to get half of the Agricultural benefits accorded the North by successive governments, the South will long have had food autonomy to a reasonable extent.

I've lived and done business in several states of the North and I can tell you for free that Southerners are considered to be second class citizens when ironically, the South has the survival soul of the Nigerian economy and society. It's quite sad.

True the south is fertile but there are small lands reserve for agriculture when compared to the North.

As for this post, it's a joke! Cause, mangoes are very cheap in the south presently.

In Warri, it's 3 for 100naira.

when will y'all stop the victim mentality? no southerner is considered second class citizen in the north sir. I am a Fulani guy, I know what I'm saying.

It is the northerners that are considered as second class citizens, I know this because I've lived in Lagos since 2004.

In the rural communities, these things are useless as they practically walk over them. Blame the high cost to logistics and spoilage. You also pay for the ones they don't sell that gets damaged
That rural tag was in those days. Currently, even the local man no see mango lick. The market women buy them as a whole and will not sell to the local people. They move them to town.

Even flies are affected. They don't see mango to do convention.

Just Lagos?

I have lived in Lagos, Kaduna, Jos, Enugu, Abuja, Cross River, Benue, Port Harcourt and more. I have equally traversed about 28 states in the course of doing business. I have friends of different ethnicities, littered in all the states I listed and I can tell you this argument you're putting up is your attempt at placating the repulsive status quo.

Search your heart, and tell me everything I wrote in my first comment isn't true to the last dot. And if you somehow happen to argue otherwise, please debunk my facts with your counter facts.

We don't have to buy everything. We can choose to farm or plant simple trees like fruits and we'll not have anything to complain about.
