Location: Abuja
Date: Thursday 26th May 2022
Appointment time: 9am
Interview duration: About 3 mins
Program: MBA, Business administration and management
School: University of new haven, Boston Connecticut.

***Window 10 Bald white American
He looked me through the glass and beaconed on me to come. He had just dished out the green paper to the lady before me.

Me… Good afternoon sir
VO: Hello, May I have your passport and i20?
Me.. Right here sir.
VO: place your hands for biometric

VO: Why are you going to this university?
Me: The university of new haven has a central focus on entrepreneurship, it offers every student the chance to choose one out of seven available concentration courses, four of these concentration courses are STEM certified by the federal government to instill technical expertise in every student, which employers are looking for in the labor market today.
VO: I can see you work with a farm or something..
Me: Yes. I work with PMICH farms Nigeria limited, we are premium suppliers of high quality agriculture products across Nigeria but the company will be extending supplies across Africa and I see this as an opportunity for me to acquire more knowledge in my field to land a managerial position in my work place.
VO: Oh! You will be coming back to work in this company?
Me: Yes sir. The company has given me a leave without pay for the duration of my studies stating that I will return to take a managerial position as soon as I’m done with my degree. I have a letter to that effect here with me. Will you like to see?
VO: oh no it’s okay. Who is sponsoring your studies ?
Me: My father
VO: And what does he do?
Me: He imports high tech media equipments for private media companies and also buys and sells landed properties and he’s also a politician.
VO: …types for some seconds, everything looks good. (Handed me the white paper)
And I honestly didn’t hear anything he said after that…
Me… Have a good day sir

Honestly…. It can only be GOD’S GRACE. BE PRAYERFUL AND PLEASE BE WELL PREPARED.

Maximum thanks to everyone posting their transcripts here and for all the guidance. GOD BLESS
congratulations

Schrodinger2:
Please help me with the whatsapp group link for an F1 visa (Lagos / Abuja). Thanks
They include these but not limited to the following.

Hot 21 FAQs for F1 Interview.

0). You've been here before, What has changed?
1). Why are you going to the US?
2). How did you come about this school?
3). Why this school?
4). How many schools did you apply to?
5). When did you graduate?
6). What have you been doing?
7). What will this degree do for you?
cool. Why this Program/Course?
9). What is your study plan?
10). Why the US and not Nigeria?
11). What is Your Plan after Studies?
12). Why should I give you this Visa?
13). Did you take any Standardized test?
14). Who's Sponsoring you?
15). What does he/she do?
16) Why will he/she Sponsor you?
17). Have you travelled before?
18). Are you Married?
19). Do you have any children?
20). Have you made travel plans?

Your questions will almost always revolve around these. Some questions are peculiar to certain type of applicants. If it's your first time, you'd not be asked the first question on the list.

Be very attentive as questions might be worded differently by the VO but still convey same meaning as those above.

There's a structure to answer all these. Answers to these questions should contain some key ingredients that will score you high during the interview. Unfortunately, I can't drop them now. However, if you read loads of approved transcripts, you should get the Idea.

Hello everyone,
Please this is urgent, I will appreciate your response.

Yesterday, May 27, I applied for US expedite appointment, my program start date is August 2022, but while I was filling it, the document I uploaded was removed without me realizing until after submission i.e, no document was uploaded. I don't know If anyone has faced this before.

What do you think I should do, coz I can't apply for another expedite appointment. Do you think I should write a message to the Genera Consular to cancel my submitted expedite request?

Hello house,
Please I need help also. I recently gained admission into a Seminary at Minnesota, USA with a full tuition scholarship while I only have to pay about 6.6k usd for rent and all and I'm to resume by fall 2022, September.
However I have not gotten any reasonable date as I have April 2023 as my date currently and I'm only hoping to file in for expedited interview within the 60days to my program start date of 14th September, 2022.

I have tried to reschedule about 3 times (I couldn't get a reasonable date either) and I logged out each time. Does it have any implication I must be aware of?

Is there any penalty really if I file in for expedited interview before the 60days ultimatum since there are issues with the process itself? I mean can I file in for expedited interview ahead? Reason is because there are protocols as an Anglican priest and i want to beat the time in a way.

I anticipate our friendly advice and responses

Greetings All,

Yesterday I was refused visa at the Lagos consular. It was really heartbreaking but I have decided not to give up.
Please I want to ask; can I reapply less than 3 months after visa refusal? Maybe apply to Abuja embassy? My school opens by August 22nd and most of my documents remain valid.

Thank you All❤

To those that were previously denied F1 visa, it is not uncommon for the VO to ask you what has changed in your second interview application... Its almost always the first question.

VO: You've been here before, what has changed?

You: Talk about the new school you intend to attend, standardized tests taken, the new course and Program, fellowship/funding/scholarship achieved, new Job acquired, and how well you've done research and well motivated for grad studies....

Overall, cases are particularly peculiar, so find yours and carve your niche.

Enjoy!!!
Please how many months intervals was between the interview dates. Cos choosing previously refused is not bring the same dates with regular visa

Hello,

Was the SEVIS terminated before the new I-20 issuance?

I’m of the opinion reinstatement would be better as such an one could still stay for about four(4) months within which their case would be determined.

Cheers, and I do wish you some luck.
