Nigeria used.

Major issues: Ball joint and transmission.

With proper maintenance, the user would be fine. Strong engine and excellent AC
Oh, well.
Much respect, sire.

Congratulations bro a good way to start and I wish you the very best as you sojourn in this task that you're about to begin.

Since you're starting with rental I will encourage you to start very early, as early as 4:30am.
When it's getting to 7, 8, 9 and down to 12noon just be very careful around ikeja,, On 3rdMB, Marina, Oshodi, and VI.

Don't always from start to finish as rider to direct you most of them don't drive so they don't know where a wrong turning is... You can only ask them to direct you on the best route in and out to their destinations and area once you're getting close to their place or driving out because most time the app don't have all the streets so most times people use a close street to their nearby. So rely mainly on your map, put, get a phone holder and put it in a location visible enough to you and same time in the road, preferably put it on the dashboard so that the GPS signal can be very okay because GPS don't work under a shade.

Gmap is very reliable don't listen to what riders say, most of them will tell you it's not reliable I just look at them and laugh, since I've been using Gmap it has never misdirect me, I only misunderstood it and it re-route as always.... This is why you should always at all time confirm where your rider is going to after starting their trip because most of them select the same street but in a different LGA while trying to make a request then they blame it in Gmap. So take note of that.

Each time you're on 3MB and the map ask you to turn to Ikoyi, or Tafabalewa, or Marina Rd always join the queue don't try to please any rider who is in a hurry, you're not the reason why they're late o... LASMA officials are always at the dead end to arrest those who always want to join the queue b4 the turn so take note.

Along the lekki-Epe Epre Rd, especially at the 1st, 2nd and 3rd round about try study the way the road construction is so you don't fall prey to those lasma officials they're always there morning till night like vultures waiting for deadbodies to eat so be careful with them.

Know the BRT corridors in Eko bridge don't follow it especially going towards Marina and Apongbo lasma and taskforce are always there... If them catch you na saraa oo maintain the 2 left lanes.

For your sanity and safety and peace of mind don't pursue bonus, only try to eat your welcome bonus which doesn't come with too much conditions but after that forget anything bonus, it's a trap to law enforcement agencies.

Take breakfast b4 leaving the house. For the now close early and start early and lastly don't drag road with any body ooh e get why

Omo kiss kiss
See advice! Thanks @Felicity... Your advise has been framed on the corner of my mind.

1. I have to Start early,
2. Always use my map, and
3. Ensure to queue while making a U-turn in those areas - 3rd mainland bridge towards ikoyi, tafawabalewa, marina Rd - in fact always join queue everywhere (I can't come and kill myself).
4. Don't chase one bonus radarada. ( I've always known that bonus thing na trap).

Thanks very much. I look forward to more advise from you and everyone one the platform.

Abeg guys,

How una take dey go ladipo market? Need idea on how to go about it coz my mechanic don chop me finish. So, I wana start going to the market to do little things myself.

My fear is where to park before entering the market and getting someone to fix the stuff. I intend changing my brake pad n disc for one of my back leg.

Also, are there any risk involved doing this kinda thing ?

Appreciate your honest feedback.

Honestly, brake disc n pad is a simple fix that shouldn't warrant going all the way to Ladipo, the stress nko? Change your mechanic if he is truly ripping you off.

If you insist, The earlier the better, before no space to park.

There's always a designated space managed by the parking touts for such. I think it's ₦1k for parking, for the whole day.

Go to where the parts r sold, sample like 3 sellers, don't allow anyone lead you to any part seller. Refuse to be assisted. Go on your own. have a fair price in mind.

Ask the part seller to recommend a good mechanic that can fix the parts for you. Take the mech to where you are parked.

After installing your stuff. Check it. Pay mechanic, Pay tout 1k for parking. N you r on your way out.

Thing is, I want to be sure I'm getting the right one, hence me going there with the car so that they can loose n change it sharply. Plus I dont want my mechanic to be the one to get them for me.

I actually intend going there on Saturday being tomorrow all things being equal.

Lolz...and when u collect the loss money what will u use it and do?
To them that the only business they know, it's better for the car to be appreciating in current value in their lot than to sell at a loss. Na una they calculate inflation and cost if living. To an average business man that didn't go to school if his goods will not spoil in d store he is ready to live it their to appreciate before selling.
To him all na profit.

So to him if he bought a Corolla 1.5m in 2019 to sell 1.6 or 1.7m. isn't it better to leave it for 3yrs and have the car more than double it's value in 2022? Instead of selling at a loss let the car be there, it's not a perishable goods.

Smh, inflation don wipe out all the "profit"

If your house is not far from Ketu you might have to consider owode Onirin. There are many secure place to park for 200-500naira and also you can park at T-Time filling station for free.

Go inside the market and get whatever you wanna get and be good.

Hello all, I booked a bolt ride from Allen Avenue to Airport Road and saw 1400 as the fee.The bolt driver took the toll at Ikeja .On getting to my destination, when he checked the amount it was showing 2000 naira.I paid him and he left.On getting the breakdown from bolt it showed 650 naira as MM2 parking fee
We didn't go to MM2 at all..Can anyone help me clarify this?

Their is a possibility, the driver received the request while parked at the airport....that way the parking fee will be included in your fare ...that's the only scenario I can think of.

If she pass that airport access, forget them go add 500 MM2 parking to her fare. I will write bolt and para give them they will compensate me with one useless voucher of 500 sometimes 1K.

I think the way they program their meter is the problem, they always have one story to tell ni sha. The thing dey mad me.

Please, who has an idea of what's wrong with this 06 corrolla.

Didn't drive since Sunday. Today, I decided to go out around 6.30 am.
Drove like 2 Km away from the house. Suddenly, I noticed engine noise ( shekere noise (musical instrument) came louder, then the red engine light blinking.

Parked n switched car off. Waited a while, like 5 mins, then turned back home. After like 5 mins on my way home, same thing, change in engine noise, then blinking of engine light.

I'm home now. Just racking my head to know what the issue could be. (oil level is quite OK)

Red engine light or oil light. That sounds like oil issue.
It could be a malfunctioning oil pump, it could also be a blocked oil filter due to sludge. Don't drive it again without fixing

Oil has expired grin
Change oil,
Open sump and clean accumulted sluge
Change oil intake screen if d net is bad. Some mechanic will just puncture that net, to allow more oil intake. make sure they don't do that.

Blinking oil light shows not enough oil is getting into engine.
