Give it time - they'll get back to you. Yesterday was a public holiday in France so both VFS and the embassy were closed

Donbaba123:

I applied since Tuesday i haven’t get any text that my application has been dispatch to France Embassy still at Vfs.

Good day everyone, pls I want to apply
For France visa with my husband. He qualifies as a frequent traveller as he has been to USA and some other countries but I do not. I’ve only been to Dubai. Can he add me to his appointment booking as a frequent traveller? Your response will be appreciated

Hi,

Yes he can, since you both will apply together.

Update - my sister's visa application was rejected for the below reasons. My mum and sister will need to collect their passports on their own next week (they didn't allow my sis to collect all three) but I'm expecting a refusal for them as well. No tears to waste - I'm already executing my plan B (2 wks holiday with them in Dubai). It's France's loss, we'll take our tourist $ elsewhere tongue

Thanks a lot...Please does anyone know if there are limitations to booking of Appointment on VFS...I have already booked for Austria twice early this year through VFS and now I am trying to book for France through VFS and the system is saying "You have exceeded the maximum number of allowed appointments"? Has anyone ever experienced this or it's system error? Please I need a feedback ASAP so I could know the way forward...Many thanks...

Lol.

Same thing happened to me yesterday 28th May 2022. I sent them mail with screenshot.
Patiently awaiting their response tomorrow monday. I will also called them by 8. If I get no positive response. I will go to their office.

But, my own thoughts.
1. I doubt the would refund.
2. Since we have the reference number, they would confirm the payment and complete the booking from their end manually. But how long it will take them to do reconciliation and confirm the payment is what I don't know.

What date did you try to book ?
