Don't mind the guy, the reason the exercise was done to favor south west was because of the Late Chief Moshood Abiola GCFR who won the June 12 1993 election which was annulled by the military government and Chief Abiola killed. The action was condemned globally. Electing Obasanjo was done to please the Yorubas who were the major opponent of the military government then, and the tribe that won the just and fair election conducted in 1993.
