There are hundreds if not thousands giving out scholarships depending on how you are able to research, network with scholars and present your case.

You also didn't mention the program if at all they want to help you.

Start by using google. Use keywords.

Best.

Thank you !

For the SOP I meant that one should use a scaled down version to respond to the questions like: why this program? why this school? why now? etc. You don't want to ramble on for too long, rather you want the VO to understand your motivation.

Congratulations and if I may ask which school gave you the $10k funding

I got $10k funding and I specified that I would handle the rest from my personal savings, highlighting that I have been working for almost 15 years smiley. So my I-20 has personal funds for the remainder.
I was particularly asked how I would fund the program; another point to note that the VOs do not necessarily look at the documents when passed to them, so you should ensure that you highlight those advantages, especially for those with partial or full funding.
When asked, I responded that I had a scholarship, and he interjected, "no that's not true" and when I started to respond, he looked, saw it and corrected himself. After that I mentioned personal funds for the balance.

Hi
Good evening everyone, I’m Edra and I just joined in here.
I was informed that this is the best forum for legit information on my dream travel to the United States to study and I was also informed that there are lots of great and selfless personalities here on this forum which has really triggered me to join.
Please great minds I have this question; I plan to do my Masters in nursing in the United States next year and I have a bachelors degree in biochemistry with a CGPA of 2.8. Please are there any recommended schools with tuition fee not more than $25,000 - $30,000 with either full or partial scholarship/funding and how do I go about the entire process.
Thank you all for your anticipated response.

I understand your pain cos I am in shoe.. what I am bothered about is how fast the escalation if the case to higher authority will be... Cos I am very honest with you, they have been slow to some extent. Mine case is still with this said authority since December and all they keep saying his that it is still under a review process.. although I am planning of getting a new MRV with a new consulate (Abuja) cos Lagos Consulate are just too slow right mow

The embassy finally responded April 25 with assisting to cancel the initial appoint, do I have been able to reschedule the interview.

Hope the issue with your date has been resolved as well?

your response should go like this, I believe I know myself pretty well in terms of what works best for me while studying. I am a firm believer that quality study is far more effective than sitting down there reading for hours upon no end. Quality study involves writing down key learning points from each lessons. Also I have since discovered myself that I am more effective studying at evening time of the day during which my level of concentration and assimilation is always at is peak. So, I have already have plan in place to make sure that my studies are effective and utilize my time very well while at the university.

Others too should contribute

No please.

Check the courses you will do ,the number of credits loads total and per semester.Your research topic with the Prof or advisor you would be working with if you have one,the years of study etc

Good day everyone,

Please I have a question;

I am trying to book an appointment and after filling my passport details and all, I submitted it and then I got this pop up. This account was created for me in 2019 by an uncle then who helped in filling it, but now I am doing everything on my own and I intend to create it from scratch. If I don't transfer this new account to the previous one as stated in the image below, would I have any issues going forward? anyone done similar stuff before without any negative effect?

COA: $32,565.00
No Funding
Undergraduate Major: Transport Management [B. Tech]

Good Afternoon

Pass your Documents [ i-20 and Passport]

*Vo: where are you going to?*

I’m going for an MBA degree in the University of Bleep which is at so so so where I will major in business administration and management in general.

*Why the USA? *

One has to respect the fact that universities in the United States are at the fore front of most universities on the globe with their degree which is highly reputable and the quality of education they give which is top notch and they also give out support facilities to students in terms of assistantship and scholarship for both immigrant and non-immigrants.
These are the reasons I’m looking forward to studying in the USA?

*Vo: How’d you know about the school and why the school*

I got to know about bleep university through my former deputy director as an undergraduate and I went to do my research.
I chose bleep university because it has been accredited by Aacsb in 2015.

*Vo: Who is paying for your deficit/ who is your sponsor? *

My mama is my sponsor, she’s a fabric distributor in Lagos island and our stores are at Balogun and idumota markets respectively.

She’s a mother of 3 and I happen to be her eldest son, we also have landed and rented properties which I handle for the family.

vO: What do you do presently?

I’m a member of staff of bleeep company where I work as a procurement officer
[Do I need to go on and explain what I do]?

*Vo: what will this course do for you? *

This course would help me grow professional, it’ll widen the range of my career path while improving my leadership skill.

It’ll also give me the pre-requisite knowledge and idea needed in managing my company when I’m back in the country.

*Why should I approve your visa? *

Your approving my visa means I will be a step ahead in my academic career and my degree would be tenable for a high position in my company upon my arrival.

Congrats.

Can somebody please enlighten me on what to look into when it comes to *study Plan and Thesis ??

Please I’m open to critics.. kindly help scrutinize this.

@moshkom

@haywhy

Thank you guys.
