True!

This is where the advantage of armored glass comes to play. It always gives the chance for an escape.

Assuming it was a bulletproofed glass, using a hard weapon on it wont even show any sign, and even a couple of close gunshots will only crack it,and you zoom off.

In an underpoliced city like lagos, armored glass in place of regular ones are important, even if you cant afford the full car bodied protection.

But,too much poverty in the land is limiting access to safety.

You have a very good head on your shoulders.

But about the bolded above, what would you do if after installing the bulletproof windows and then you get attacked but as your windows are shielding you there is nowhere for you to zoom off to because you’re in a hold up or very tight space? grin

Have you watched Captain America Civil War, at that beginning when they cornered Samuel L Jackson in a bulletproof SUV but he had nowhere to run to?

That kind of situation will make me sh1t my pants for real lipsrsealed

Chief I want to change the ball joint of my honda accord 2007... Should I go for brand new or tokunbo? My fear for the tokunbo is what u just said up there

Take time and do the walk yourself, go to ladipo and look for Honda Accord section then look for those people that sell suspension parts direct tokunbo alone not butcher cars, tell them to remove the one from the legs and sell to you.

You may need to ask for directions if you don't want all those boys to follow you.

Note: if anybody follows you to a part seller's shop the price will definitely increase, it's an ethics they already know.

You valid Chief.

Funny enough, I've not driven the car since my friend brought it to my house.

I've been closing late and leaving home very early since Sunday. Some kind bills they wey won choke me, you Sabi the Matter na grin

No worry e get zehcheesy when I bought my it was parked at home for good 5weeks b4 I was able to raise money for registration and fixing.

you've done the major thing which is acquiring the car so nothing can take that away from you.

Don't take any loan to fix, just like I advised earlier work and fix it gradually. Start with the major fixing , e.g ac then oil change and then make car wash the last thing. Within 2months you would be done with everything.

But if you take a loan to fix, repairs and corrections and mastering will definitely take at least 2-3months especially mastering since it's a new brand of car you're owning, mind you will be servicing the debt even when the car is not working because in the first month you'll spend some quality time at the mechanic, it will choke you... I really can't explain this but I'm giving you this advice freely because of the trust you have for me... No one guilded me when I was here then and it took me almost 5months to clear off the debt.

But count yourself lucky because you still have a rented car so you can raise money from there while fixing yours and when you're balance you can then drop the rented car and then start using yours.

Again, stay away from loan for now. Pay the once you've collected then start fixing yours gradually.

I understand that not all of them are like that especially those who bought the cars themselves and not their husbands.

But the fact is that if your madam is using regular conventional oil and changing it twice a year after a total of circa 6k miles a year then her engine is prone to becoming sludgy. She should be using synthetic oil for that type of severe use.

The vehicle uses full synthetic oil. I also change the filter every three months. Dru does not stock the filter she uses and I don't trust regular filters.

Last service was 25th of February, as of today, the vehicle is yet to do 2000 miles.

I know that bosses in the house would definitely come to enlighten you, but lemme quickly throw this for a start;
1) first, ensure all your papers are updated; Drivers license, car particulars, and what have you.
2) Go get your LASDRI card at Oshodi (road safety bus stop) - you will go along with your drivers license, then processes with start there (3k).
3) Go do LASRRA at any LG branch around you. You can also register for this online then go and finalize it at the LG branch you have around, but go and do it there sha.
4) once all this is done, the next step is to download bolt app and start registration.
5) after registration, next step is to take your car for bolt inspection at any of their branches in Lagos. If you reside in Lagos.
6) after a successful inspection result (in your mail box from. Bolt), then go hit the road and start moving Lagos.
7) as per being profitable - this depends on what profitability means to you sha. Some would tell you that it's not worth it and other would say otherwise. I use Camry 03 (rental), I remit to the car owner and I also have my own savings. The beginning might be very confusing to you in the aspect of how much you made for the day, but you will catch up in 2-3 days and understand what you're doing.
If I buy fuel of 5k (don't forget, Camry is 2.4L), I use it to gross between 22k - 25k, depends on surge. After removing my fuel money and paying bolt commission, I've having in my hand+bank account over 10k unshaken. On weekends, I make more than that for sure, so, it's still okay somehow. I know how much net I have if I gross 35k-40k, you will get to understand once you start.
If you're doing it full-time, your earnings will be higher.
So, if for example you net 10k daily for 6 days in a week, that's 60k weekly (multiply by 4 weeks a month, that's 240k, which I know you will make more than that cos I do.
For you to know what profit you're making, make sure you're doing your calculation, cos sometimes, you will see 20k on your dashboard and you will look your hand and account and you will be wondering where the 20k go? grin
But don't worry, na calculations go make you see where the money is hidden.
Can't type more than this, nro.
Legends here will educate you more, mine is just an opener.
Much respect, boss.

Very beautiful and positive analysis.
No others who would push heaven and earth to bash it, but are still doing it full-time.

Some women actually know how to take care of their care even without their husbands input.
There's this flat directly opposite my own, I stay upstairs so I am able to see her compound from my bedroom.

Every weekend, this woman will wash the car herself (they have two). So anyone she's going out with she will wash it. She doesn't engage the security.

When she goes to pick her children from school and the kids alight from the car, she will clean all the carpets and rug before she join the children in the house.

I wouldn't say it's because she works from home that's why she has that time because caring for 3 kids is enough work already.

I have also seen her a couple of times check the fluids before starting the car in the morning.

I would say so but it's still impressive.

Yeah! You can armor any car year model, even 1998 cars, once its engine can power the extra weight due to armoring.

Police officers had stopped me on different occasions and have collected monies from me. I've up till date been avoiding them on my ways. I'd not have money to do the change of ownership for now. Most of the rich men you see around drives armored cars, and the advantage is that, its hard to know, its when its shot at,you will be surprised that the bullet cant penetrate.

Concerning the pricing and process, its quite expensive, because it has to be ordered, because the dope ones are mostly done in the US,for example TAC(TEXAS ARMORING COMPANY) you pay for their service and they armor any type of car for you. Like i say it is in millions of Naira.

And some cars are also factory fitted from their makers, most common are Lexus LX,LS,TOYOTA LANDCRUISERS,HILUX,MB s class,BMW 7 series.. In short, top of the line cars.

But these are damn expensive, coupled with the documentations.

But if you have the means,to protect ones life no be joke, you can always go for the aftermarket ones, they are cheaper and still reliable.

4. Don't chase one bonus radarada. ( I've always known that bonus thing na trap).
